Her latest film, Mastizaade has landed her in trouble...
If a obscenity case filed by a housewife last year wasn't enough for Sunny Leone, the actress faces another case, this time around for vulgarity. But she isn't the only one in trouble. The makers of Mastizaade along with actor Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor are also a part of a FIR filed. According to reports, a complaint has already been registered against the cast and the crew of the movie.
Reports state that someone has filed an FIR at the Adarsh Nagar police station in Delhi and the matter is currently under investigation. But why was the case filed? The reason for the complaint was that the actors were promoting condoms inside a temple is a very vulgar way.
Recently, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan ran into trouble for shooting inside a temple with footwear for a promo of Bigg Boss 9. So promoting condoms inside a temple will garner more attention and outrage. Though we haven't heard anything from the police about how the investigation will take place, this issue is surely going to be blown out of proportion.
Mastizaade, in which Sunny Leone plays a double role, hasn't done too well at the box office too. Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film released on January 29 and had earned Rs 11 crore nett (approx) at the domestic box office.
