Why are they way off?

Some of the best songs of the year didnt even get nominated/win even though they were clearly the best songs of the year...Off the top of my head: Katra Katra from Alone, Judaai from Badlapur, Sun Saathiya from ABCD2 (this is clearly the song of the year and shouldnt swept all awards), Banno from TWMR, Desi Look from EPL, Gallan Goodiyaan from DDD, Manma Emotion from Dilwale etc etc

Im sorry but did I miss something? Most of the songs being nominated are horrible compared to the songs above.

I haven't been following awards closely this year but from what I know, Roy won best album in Filmfare...

It wasn't my favorite album but I see why it won.

Generally though, I don't remember single songs being nominated for a seperate category...

I await the Mirchi awards as they're more music-centric.
