India's answer to Pacino and De Niro. Raam Jaane > Scarface and Darr > Cape Fear.

SRK deserves 10/10 for Swades and CDI! My most fav SRK films. I hope in future he chooses scripts that do complete justice to his powerhouse talent.

For me, acting is ultimately a connection between a movie goer and an actor. it is not the awards or box office. It is not depending on good roles or script to give a performance that people connect to. It is taking an ordinary role and making it extraordinary because people connect with you. It is the ability to make people like your character despite playing shades of gray. But that token SRK is an excellent actor to me.
In Baazigar he kills the Shilpa Shetty character without remorse, he is absolutely scary as the stalker in Darr but people connected with him and liked when they should have hated his character. He was no superstar then, no "Khan" factor to make lousy films a hit based on the SRK name. He was just a struggling actor trying to cross over from TV. But he made those roles his own and iconic because he was in it. He made Rahul of DDLJ an ordinary fool of a boy an immortal lover that 20 years plus people still want to see it. That is acting to me. That is why he has the 20 plus career. That is why there is the 'SRK' factor. It is because even today people connect with him in lousy films.

I would rate him 8 on an average.
For CDI though, he surely deserves a 10 and for a few others (MNIK, Veer-Zaara etc), somewhere between 8 and 9.

10/10.

'Cause he is one of those versatile actors who can do ANY role- romantic, comedic, negative, action hero and many more.

He can pull all of it off.

I don't know why he is wasting his talent on films like DIlwale. Really disappointing for me.
