I am kinda agreeing with your post .
I think the vested interested was his father in laws business rivals . He had put all Sasurji money in the movie and it was in their interest that it tanked .

Also I feel if this movie had subtitles below it would have helped a lot . Basically Sobti mumbles a lot and you cannot understand what he is saying in one go . On tv you can rewind sometimes but on big screen it's very difficult .

Yes subtitles would have helped .

I am also understanding your point abt the conspiracy theory . Sobti is no 1 on IF or in top 3 always . This must have made all the khans and Ranbir , Ranveer very nervous . So the conspiracy to delay this wonderful release and not give it Hindi subtitles for ppl to understand what is being said .

I suspect hiring Shahnaz was also part of the conspiracy . 😆

Well he was certainly a power to reckon. As they say never underestimate your opponent and certainly holds true here. If this movie had a little more masala and oomph and had a bigger production house it would have made a serious dent and cause of concern for some.

One of the fellow actors of this movie was imploring the producer to release the payment as none of the actors have been paid .
I truly believe his sasurji business rivals plus the big honchos of Bollywood are truly insecure of his IF ranking and hence have sabotaged all his projects . His JA film is in the cans for 2 yrs and some cricket movie he is doing has been under prodn for 3 yrs and looks like will stay under prodn for the next 7 yrs .

This is all sabotage . I suspect all the biggies are involved . We must do something .

That was one masterpiece. He even got his blood diluted for that short film
