Have u taken some of srk bashing serious?? I hope not jaar... Yeh bashing sirf fun time pass hai for this forum... don't take it to heart... baaki rahi baat Srk ki... I think he still has in him to give some more ATG, ATBB, BB & Superhit films, nothing to worry about Big B kind of transition YET.

You don't worry... Yeh 90's ke videos nahi, isi decade ke hai, 2012 / 2013 ke... abhi woh craze baaki hai, zaroorat hai uss film ki jo expectations se jayda kar jaaye, Raees has it, Woh karegi dhamaal, agar biggest na bhi kar saki, will do better than Dilwale for sure...

He has 4 years left for this decade, Time hai, just need a film which clicks with audience in bigger way.

Honestly speaking the major concern of mine is that I don't want Fan to disappoint and the Eid clash.

@italic it's release is not sure, maybe it'll come in 2017.

Plus it's a light, frothy romcom. Not some great acting expected

I have a feel, Fan will go in the MNIK route (film getting ruined by excessive doing) and Raees will go in Chak De route.

SRK does not need to bother if his stardom is fading. Today Indian market can make content films a hit, not like the era when Amitabh stepped down. Unlike Salman, Sharukh has an actor in him. In Salman's movie, even a content film needs to accommodate Salman as Salman only (like BB). Sharukh has no such baggage. All he needs to realise is, he has to cater to Indian sensibilities. Spending high budget on sci-fi might not win them. But a simple story telling will. The audiences are not bothered about the technology used, but are more interested in the story and its narration.

Just wanted to add, I am so eager to see Sharukh and Ranveer when Sharukh is still in his peak. These two as brothers look more real than SRK-Hritik and SRK-Varun.

If you look at those content films, not even SINGLE FILM is CLEAN HIT, best they got SEMI-HIT... Now which content films were clean HIT??? Every film having CONTENT with STARS... Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Bajirao Mastani, Piku, TWMR, inn sab mei Content that jo aajkal ka craze hai, but yehi HIT hui... jabki woh IRRFAN waali film Talvar HIT bhi nahi hui...

Salman can survive without Content, only he needs a big content film to Score HIGHEST, same can't be said about others... IRRFAN Talvar HIT nahi kara saka, NAWAAZ can't make MANJHI hit, also my fav RANDEEP Fell flat with Charles Shobraj biopic.

Also in 2015 it was expected that it would be Ranbir's year as he had two potentially performance oriented roles. But look at what happened...he is still nowhere though his performance was praised.

Yes. SRK won for DDLJ, KKHH which were frothy romcoms. This film is from the director of DDLJ going back to its roots. It has a potential to become a ATBB like DDLJ which makes Ranveer's chances very strong.

Once he stops running behind Box Office and accepts himself the way he is as an actor, things will be alright for him.. There was never a low phase in terms of popularity for SRK, all he needs to know is what audience demands from him and what made him the star he is today and stop taking his fans for granted !
