dilwale has earned more than BM in some countries...reason, srk's star power
N the same dilwale is earning less in domestic market...reason, weak content...
Inshort if the movies of srk performs well the credit is given to only srk n if it underperform then all the blames goes to his co-stars, director or its content

Rules are different for Salman n Srk.
This phorum has made perception rules for Salman; he is a non - actor and don't give any credit to salman for hit movies only flop movies shld be credited to Salman.

Raees looks like a big movie, the teaser indicates as much. So it should as a result do good as far as BO is concerned. Also take into account that it is coming on Eid, if it were like fan, I doubt they would release it against Sultan.

I don't know what the problem is. There are few movies that are not supposed to do great business at BO; its the way they are made. Let them be.

At dis point of career, khans shud focus more on quality rather dan records n so shud v, d audience ..wid dere gudwill a quality product ll automatically turn into a hit/super hit if not bb or atbb..dat ll b a more respectable position for dem since after de fade out de ll b remembered for classics de had given in dere career n nt for records
@Tm Ppl including non fans expect a movie like fan to not break records is only bcz of its genre..Remember he had given Swades n dil se, which were critically acclaimed bt not Bo success, during his heydays...Aamir has given talaash which( may nt b a masterpiece though) was a semi hit in his high time...When srk is a little low wrt his movies, why some ppl r expecting 'fan' to b a record breaker which is not massy product

I personally think a film like Raees is more in SRK's comfort zone than a Dilwale or HNY or CE..Simply because i can see him pull off an anti-hero role with a lot more conviction and style than when he is playing a typical masala hero..Ditto with Aamir..I don think he can ever pull off a Dabangg the way Salman did..Pretty sure SRK is a lot more comfortable doing a Darr/ a Baazigar than a film like CE where he hammed away to glory 😆 So yeah, i do think Raees is totally his kind of role ( you could tell even from the 2 minute teaser where he was kickass and better than all his recent films put together)..If the film is well made, it'l definitely do really well..More than being an excuse, if the content is good, i totally see the film doing better than a HNY or Dilwale 😆

There is no comparison of fan with jai ho /talaash as it doesn't have any songs as far as i know and i think not even a major actress .

Jai ho n prdp were content oriented movies?? I don't think so..Jai ho was a poorly executed movie, notwithstanding d intentions behind d movie n prdp (haven't watched d movie bt going by what ppl around me, not on if, told me abt it) had unintentional humor..how dese movies expect audiences to take dem seriously?
Regarding talaash, ppl had mixed opinions(again not talking abt if)abt it so it wasn't a unanimously accepted movie..One cannot compare dem wid fan..Except for talaash prdp n to some extent jai ho too were meant to do huge business


Even though I m new to bollywood forums n understand big movies ll b bashed bt I agree sometimes it goes over d board (wid whatever I hv seen) bt don't worry let fan release if it is a bad product wid bad bo or gud product wid bad bo or gud product wid gud bo, in all situations it ll b mocked n made fun of..dere ll no discrimination wid srk fans here 😆
