Also Is there any other option?

The formula no-story Masala film like HNY, Dilwale etc is not working for SRK

So he has to venture out to CDI, Swades kind of movie which has stopped doing last couple of years

wat is a Khan level 😆 n y can't Srk experiment with 2 movies 😕😆 its gud heis doing something different like Fan which looks really interesting 😎

That's the crux of the complaint SRK fans have w/ SRK...Imagine if Raees had released after CE in 2014...Then FAn in 2014 & then HNY in 2015...Every movie would have performed & SRK would have been lauded for 'MIXING IT UP'...

Now if Fan or Raees don't do 200 crores...detractors will say...Last nail in SRK's coffin!!!

This puts undue pressure on those movies which were meant not for box office but for arti!tic satisfaction!

It's all about timing which I am afraid SRK has lost the sense of ...[temporarily..I hope]

Salman fans on this forum are never satisfied with SRK. On one had they say SRK's career is over. On the other hand they want him to make ATG records with ATBB status with every film when Salman himself in the best phase of his career has been unsuccessful in doing so. How can a man who is over beat PK or BB?

This is also right, if you aren't getting success in doing some genre, try another, may be it will turn around tables for him.

2015 is gone people , move on . Why do you need to discuss a gone movie and a done and dusted actor .

As for topic : i find it better excuse than EXTREME COLD 😆 Atleast we are as frustrated with sharukh as everyone else and have been longing for him to do better movies .

But the question still remain the same, in popular genre like masala, with big stars, directors, even you said in your thread, if you have Shah in your film, film's brand value increases, he couldn't give big hits, now he turns for content, but why his content based films aren't expected to roll huge numbers?

Mixing it up, trying diff genre, focusing on script based projects is good thing, not expecting big is matter for concern.

Because, by the looks of it Fan is not a BO juggernaut. So it won't do that business. It is as simple.

Fan should be a quality product, and if it is not; that is where the criticism should be. Not on its box-office. However it should recover the budget it had been made on, so that it is a profitable venture.

Raees looks like a big movie, the teaser indicates as much. So it should as a result do good as far as BO is concerned. Also take into account that it is coming on Eid, if it were like fan, I doubt they would release it against Sultan.

I don't know what the problem is. There are few movies that are not supposed to do great business at BO; its the way they are made. Let them be. It doesn't disprove anything.

It can be applicable to our Akshay, who can deliver a Baby or a Special 26 once in a while, even if they don't do well, no body question his star status. One reason could be this also as he isn't that much big star as Khans are, here we are talking about Shah Rukh Khan, if u have seen BOI Article, they weighed Fan more than any other film in that category just coz it star him as lead. Khans are known to overcome any hurdle, they can make a flop film a hit film with their star power.

Also one more thing, before selecting a project you know how much it can perform at ticket counter, this is first time we are seeing no big talks about Shah's both films coming this year as if we are talking about some artist who is doing art film.

Chak De had spirit. Dil Se was set in the gloomy mood. Swades was a documentary. Along with the content, narration needs to be spirited. (3 Idiots or BB had a spirited narration. Talaash and MNIK had very dull narration).
