There is a good news for all Shah Rukh Khan fans! The actor will be seen hosting this year's Filmfare Awards!

According to a report in Catch News, Filmfare Awards 2016 will see Shah Rukh Khan and Kapil Sharma set the stage on fire with their camaraderie.

Kapil Sharma hosted the Filmfare Awards last year with director-producer Karan Johar. While SRK is not new on the Filmfare stage. In 2008, Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan co-hosted the Filmfare awards and the jodiwas repeated in 2013 too. In 2012, Shah Rukh shared the stage with Ranbir Kapoor where a battle between the Khans and Kapoors ensued.

Kapil and SRK were seen together in Comedy Nights With Kapil where they seemed to have hit it off really well.

This year then, all roads will lead to the star-spangled 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards 2015, which will be held on January 15 at the Dome, NSCI Mumbai. And here's the big news. For the first time ever, the Filmfare Awards will be a ticketed event. Movie lovers can pay and watch their favourite stars talk, walk and perform live.

i have watched all the films of shahrukh😆 with the excpetion of maya memsaab.. there wa another movie of shahrukh with javed jaffery.. i dont remmeber the heroine but it was hilarious to the core.. i remmeber watcghing that movie and laughing all through it.. it was like shahrukh has illness in one and then he doesnt in another.. it had something to do with selling india or somehting😆

srk kapil would be fun too😆

hopefully this whole ordeal will die down by april. SRK just needs to keep his mouth shut and not get into any more controversy. Lets just hope SRKs team and YRF have some plan ready to tackle whatever in April.
Aamir khan got lucky in this matter, his movie doesn't come out till december. no one will remember this crap by then.

Lol...even Akshay got kala taaka done for himself and got full support of bhakts (anyways he is claimed to be one of the most deshbhakt actor of baharat) , there is an article on IF itself with photo where he met Amit Shah of BJP and shah even tweeted support for Airlift 😆

Someone mentioned Duplicate, I love that movie😆. I'm a huge Shahrukh and Juhi fan so not only did I adore his character Bablu but I loved the scenes Shahrukh had with Juhi and also the ones he had with Farida Jalal. Bablu was so cute! Not to mention I adore the music of that film.

Shahrukh hosting Filmfare! Damn! Now I'll have to watch...lol! I sat through Stardust awards just to see his and Kajol's performance. Would have to watch the darn thing now as he's hosting it.

Shahrukh and Saif were a riot together! I would have loved to see Ranveer hosting it with him too! Or even Ranbir but Kapil is good too.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan wants to be left out of the Aamir Khan-Amitabh Bachchan Incredible India ambassador debate.

"I don't have anything to do with it: neither was I recruited nor was I let go. Please leave me out of it," SRK told media persons here on Monday at the launch of 'Shades of Bengal' coffee table book by Kansai Nerolac.

Superstar Aamir Khan had confirmed earlier this month that he was no longer brand ambassador of the Incredible India campaign and said he respected the government's decision not to extend his contract in this regard.

Looks like he is learning fast👍🏼...let's see how long it lasts..

exactly...Farah ne kaun sa SRK ke favor mein bola...SRK saved her sinking ship with HNY...gave her a 200 cr movie with a so called terrible movie and yet she kept quiet...The BW industry are hypocrites...they all sucked up to Salman ...because he would benefit them and not spoke about Shahrukh because they were afraid of the BJP goons...🥱

Following controversies over his comment on intolerance, Hindi cinema superstar Shahrukh Khan today said he won't answer any question on political and religious matters.

"Unfortunately because of the reactions I get when I answer something political or religious, I don't think I will answer this question," Khan told reporters here when asked to comment on cancellation of Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali's concert in Mumbai.

Ali is now scheduled to perform in Kolkata tomorrow.

Khan had earlier said there is "extreme intolerance" in India, creating a furore.

He had said the controversy also affected the collections of his latest film Dilwale'.

During a programme to launch the Shades of Bengal' book by Nerolac Paints, he also avoided answering the question related to reduction of his security cover by the Mumbai Police.

Khan quipped saying he missed the constables as they used to bring food for him.

"I miss them. Sometimes I give them a call to ask about their well-being. They used to take food for me and we used to eat puri' and rice together," he added.
