Gerua Plane...Shahrukh Fans are mad just like their Favorite.❤️

Hollywood actor discovers 'Gerua' plane from Dilwale, Shah Rukh fans go into frenzy

Hollywood actor Patrick J. Adams little did he know that a causal snap during his vacation in Iceland would attract a significant amount of attention to his Instagram account from Bollywood fans.

Adams posted a picture in appreciation of a music band that he met in Iceland. But Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, unintentionally, stole the thunder from the post. The wreckage of the plane sitting on a scenic black sand beach stuck a chord with fans of the Dilwale star, who went into a tizzy tagging, commenting and liking the post.

The plane was featured in Gerua song from Dilwale starring Shah Rukh and Kajol. The song is the first romantic number in the film featuring the ever-green Bollywood jodi, who also made an onscreen comeback after a gap of five years.

Shah Rukh and Kajol are also credited for making Switzerland a dream destination to travel for millions of India with their all-time blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Now Slheimasandur's black sandy beach in the south of Iceland has became a favorite destination for travel and honeymoon, courtesy Shah Rukh.

Many in comment of the post said that they were under the impression that plane was a work of special effects. But now that they know that it exist, the destination has become part of people's travel bucket list.

The US Navy plane which has a history, is now being called 'Gerua' plane by Bollywood fans.

Probably, inspired by the response to his first post, Adams, who plays Mike Ross on popular US TV show Suits, shared another picture of the plane from a different angle. And the latest post has been getting more like than the previous one.

A United States Navy airplane aka C-47 SkyTrain aka "Dakota" was forced to land on black sandy beach on Nov 24, 1973. The crew survived the landing and the airplane's remains still lies at the crash site making it an attractive location for filmmakers across the world.

Pop star Justin Bieber's I'll Show You music video was shot around beautiful locales of Iceland, including the popular plane crash site.

But Bieber was not able to generate the level of buzz around the "Dakota" crash site that Shah Rukh has managed.

Make way for the ultimate Badshaah of box office!

Shah Rukh Khan has officially proved he is the true king of the film industry by not only the kind of roles he does but also by the box office figures. The actor, who has always promoted his films extensively in India and overseas, recently marked his debut in the Rs 2000 crore club. He has become the third Indian actor to reach that milestone.

Yes, gone are the days when people talked about Rs 100 crore, 2016 is all about making it to the Rs. 2000 crore club. While SRK's career graph has been on an all time high from past 5 years, it was his film Chennai Express directed by Rohit Shetty that paved way for amazing box office numbers for his role Rahul. The film that grossed Rs 227.13 crore was among the top 10 grossers of all time, including Bajrangi Bhaijaan and PK. Khiladi Akshay Kumar was the first one to achieve this feat followed by Salman Khan.

Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Dilwale, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and RA.One are the few top films that led him to the pedestal of Rs 2000 crore club. This is a much deserved victory for King Khan who puts his blood and sweat each film he does. The actor not only sees that his film gives due credit to his co-stars but also makes sure that the producers don't go under loss, hence each film of his comes as a full-fledged entertainment package of a family entertainer.

This feat is only the beginning in the great Shah Rukh Khan's life, who is still touching millions of hearts at the age of 50 but doesn't look a day over 20!

😆😆 He must be thinking WTH just happened and what the heck is Gerua? 😆

But in a way he did a favor too. Thanks to all the negative campaigning and shameless lies told abt VFX in Gerua, many fans were even under the wrong impression that the plane and the beach, everything was special effects!
Now Patrick's pics of the broken plane has cleared some of the confusion.

The Russian premiere of your new film Dilwale is due to take place in February. Will you be able to come?

I really want to go to Russia. It's one of the few countries I've never been to. And it's a very beautiful country too. I'd also like to shoot one of my films there.

Indian cinema has historically been very popular in Russia, and people still enjoy it today. As for the Russian premiere, I'd be happy to attend, if my busy schedule allows. We've already held premieres in Britain and the USA, and now it is definitely Russia's turn.

Do you think your new film will interest Russians and foreigners in general?

I think most people like the love stories that lie at the heart of our films, as well as the emotional side of the movies. I have spent a lot of time with Russians, Germans and Britons. They have all said that the emotions in Indian cinema are very strong. In Dilwale, we have two love stories at once. Also, Rohit Shetty's films are always very bright and colourful. So I'm almost sure that foreigners will like the emotional side of the film, the love stories, and, of course, the songs and dances.

You were good at sport at school. Have you ever thought about what you might have done if you hadn't become an actor?

A sportsman. I'm sure that I could have done well for my state at cricket or hockey.

At the start of your career, you often played anti-heroes, something that cannot be said of your recent roles. Which do you personally find it more interesting?

I like dark roles - I call them 'grey' - much more, but I've been fated to play romantic parts. It is no secret to anyone that I'm offered the roles of positive characters much more frequently. If I could choose, then I'd probably prefer anti-heroes. Like in my next film Raees'. My character in my new film, 'Fan,' is also ambiguous.

To play a bad guy, you need to work hard, to bring out that side of you from somewhere deep inside of you and then personify it on screen.

Dilwale is your 12th film with Kajol, I think. Are you planning any more work together?

You know, everyone says we need to do a mature love story. We've been filming together for 22 years now, but we haven't done that many such films. It might sound presumptuous, but I'd like to do something serious. I think that at this stage and that our age we could sum up everything we've done and try to take it to a completely different emotional level.

Many people who saw your films My Name Is Khan' and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' with Kajol have probably asked themselves this next question. How do you manage to keep up from one film to the next the romantic fairy tale that you give audiences?

Firstly, a fairy tale means magic. And magic is something that you can't explain. Secondly, a lot of it is down to the people who make the films with us, and, of course, the audiences. We've become like family for them. We're normal people, and that's how we act in our films, whether we are both in them or not. We've never seen ourselves as a pair of stars. Audiences see themselves in us.

You're not only a successful actor, but a businessman too, in the sense that you do your own marketing and spend a lot of time on it.

You know, when you become a celebrity everyone starts giving you the credit for everything. Unfortunately, people often say that a film's success is thanks to Shah Rukh Khan, and not to the 200 people involved in it. I'm the guy in the film poster. That's my role. Everything else is down to my team of highly educated, clever, special people who come up with the ideas. Of course, I also have a certain status in society - I won't deny that - but when it comes to marketing the ideas aren't mine. Call me a marketing genius, a businessman, whatever you want - it's all a complement to the people I work with.

What events in the past year have stuck in your memory?

Quite a few events made an impression on me. Sometimes in a bad way, like, for instance, the floods in Chennai and the terrorist acts in Paris.

On a personal level, my son has said his first words and started talking. Apart from that, I've turned 50. I've reached a stage in life where I'm getting invited to meet young people all over the world. It's interesting, because I have something to share with them. I've learned a lot in life, mainly, of course, thanks to my work.

God i am still so much in love with Gerua. I play it on a loop everyday and i haven't done that in a VERY long time for a Bollywood song. ❤️ I am still very pissed that the song was wasted in this shitty movie. 😡
