Considering the times we are living in, I won't be surprised one bit if there are protests regarding Raees. Rahul's movie Parzania wasn't allowed to be screened in the state of Gujrat. These right wing bigots obviously don't understand the term logic. They are anti Pakistan even though their dear leader just visited the country. I'm sure some moron or the other would get up and have an issue with Mahira being in the movie, someone else would have an issue with the storyline or whatever they think is the storyline. These things have now become so predictable that anyone can make a prediction about it. At the same time I can guarantee nobody will have an issue with Fawad starring in Kapoor & Sons or atleast that's my opinion. See..the thing is these folks are looking for publicity and they know attacking or issuing threats against a Shahrukh movie would get them more in the media as opposed to anything else. Not that I'd want them to protest against Fawad's movie either. Just pointing out that there's a strategy behind their antics too I'm sure. I want the clash to happen and at this point we can be rest assured that if Shahrukh changes the date then everyone and their brother would start shouting from the rooftops about how he got scared. I want the clash to happen but I want RCE and Excel to be smart about it. I'm sure they'll factor in the external circumstances but what the hell can they do as producers if some idiots decide to vandalize theaters! Saying they should give security is a little naive as that's the job of the state government. I don't care about the clash as much as I care about the movie being released in the manner they wish it to. Let there be a clash, I don't think many Shahrukh fans have an issue with it but God forbid if there is a situation where it's being stopped or disrupted then that will be a huge factor when it comes to the BO. The clash is not my worry, it's the other bull that I'm apprehensive about.
