I didn't really miss Karan😆...yes I do like that he gets them like no one else but his absence allows for more free-flowing conversation from SRK-Kajol if you will...KJo invariably will turn the convo in the direction of his cheap PJs sooner or later...but for once these promotions were all about CELEBRATING this friendship, this brand, this journey and I've enjoyed it to the fullest...it's been like a treasure trove of memories to soak up and lock away for the inevitable longgg gap before/IF they do a movie together again.


Without Karan around, Kajol and SRK were free to focus on EACH OTHER rather than on Karan...lol...cuz inevitably the fact that they are close to Karan and very good friends with him too turns the focus of the convo away...but I've enjoyed the fact that these promotions have let centerstage be mostly on SRK-Kajol...the selfish fangirl in me is quite happy😆

I am about to cry I am going to miss them so much !
They are truly perfect for each other !

Where Kajol talks about how sweet and innocent Karan is and she was scared ppl will walk all over him so she decided to stage a mock fight on the first day of shoot where Karan fake screams at her just so ppl don take him for granted? Yeah true..The promotions were more SRK-Kajol centric and i thoroughly enjoyed that..What i meant was if there is any third person who can actually add to their dynamic, its Kjo 😆 And like you said, he is someone who actually gets them..That struck me the moment i saw Gerua..Cos i realized Karan could have turned that into magic..I mentioned in a couple of other places that i saw more chemistry in Dilwale than in MNIK probably because MNIK was as unconventional as it can get but i was watching a couple of songs from the film a few days back and i realized how well Karan picturized them ( doesn't change the fact that the film sucked though 😆)..For example, the last few seconds of Tere Naina were magic..And even in IVs, i think he and SRK-Kajol make for the most entertaining director-actors combo 😆 Karan is as fake as it can get with most other actors but even he comes across as genuine when he is with these two 😆

I actually don't get all the MNIK hate...I thought it was a good movie...over the top sometimes, yes but SRK-Kajol were adorable as they always are...just in a slightly different avatar from their mainstream commercial ones...heck every moment they are together has so much WARMTH and HEART in it...nothing I can fault there...I think KJo presented them well as he always has...all of the songs, not just Tere Naina...had many sweet moments in them...and the proposal scene is one of my all time favs of theirs...that's their natural adorableness lighting up the screen.


Yes, as a director-actor duo/trio, these three are very entertaining to watch together cuz in many ways KJo represents all of the fandom as he fawns over them/cries while shooting them in a movie😆...but I think it was quite refreshing to see SRK-Kajol by themselves and we got more about their dynamic/memories together than just the ones KJo prodded/joked out of them so that was fun...especially in that M bole toh interview.


I frankly think KAJOL makes everyone around her look genuine...SRK is a whole another person with her😆...and ditto for KJo...it's like she grounds them away from all the sycophants.
