One needs maturity to sing for Shah Rukh Khan: Arijit Singh

Bollywood hit- machine Arijit Singh must be on cloud nine after getting to show his singing skills for Shah Rukh Khan in Dilwale'. His latest song Gerua' which was filmed on Shah Rukh and Kajol has already become a rage among the singer's fans.

ANI caught up with the singer to know how he felt to lend his voice for king Khan and he said, "It feels great and also weird at the same time. I have been watching Shah Rukh Khan since my childhood and I never thought my voice would suit him. A lot of people would feel that I my voice is not suitable for him because Shah Rukh is one huge personality and you need some kind of maturity to sing for him and for me there is long way to go."

Meanwhile, he said, "Music directors like Pritam and Vishal-Shekhar believed in me and I also tried to put my best foot forward. King Khan loves the song."

He added, "'Gerua' has become a huge hit and it feels nice to see people are accepting me in SRK's voice."

The Hamdard' hit-maker was in national capital to mesmerise his fans as a part of Mirchi Live concert.

The Bollywood singer enthralled the audience with his back-to-back hit numbers like Tum Hi Ho', Kabira', Baaton Ko Teri' and his latest Gerua' from Dilwale'.

Arijit, unlike others, proved that he is a complete entertainer as he also crooned hit songs of other singers.
