Just a break up? Says who? Emotional/psychological abuse exists in relationships, just because we can't see it doesn't mean it wasn't there and so far all things that we've been hearing lead to that idea. Anybody can be emotionally coerced into doing things based on emotional threats like, "I won't love you if you don't do this" or "I'll break up with you if you don't do this", and mentally abused people fall for those lines. Jiah may not have been as "independent" as you think.

You seriously find this laughable? What is so laughable?
Have u ever heard of the term "emotional abuse" apart from physical abuse?

Many women have miscarriages in early months when the fetus gets discharged on its own. Sometimes doctor has to do D & C procedure to clean the uterus for leftover tissue.
Jiah was taking abortion pills so she started hemorrhaging, she was having a pill induced miscarriage and Sooraj took out the fetus which was already on its way out.
And yes, its horribly painful, Jiah could have lost her life due to infection or excessive bleeding. Suraj didnt take her to hospital as it would expose their affair I guess.
OP: Sooraj is not being indicted for the forced abortion but for abetting and inciting suicide. Jiah suffered from terrible depression and needed emotional support from him after the abortion but he denied her, mistreated her and somehow made her believe she was better off dead. Its easy to manipulate an emotionally weakened, depressed person. Abetting suicide is a crime in India.

Like I clearly stated earlier I'm just discussing this one accusation of this home makeshift abortion . I find that accusation crazy . For one he has no medical knowledge or equipment to even perform it . That unbelievable for me

Sorry...NOTHING is a crime in India, until you prove it!!!..Sooraj is innocent until proven guilty.Period!

In a few years you will see how Sooraj will come out as innocent from this case and how his fans will burst the crackers and celebrate his acquittal...No one will remember or even care about Jia Khan or this bizarre episode of abortion...

Its true, you don't need to be scientist/doctor to deliver a foetus. But you do need the right knowledge and experience to do so. If you are not trained adequately you can rupture the uterus. In rural areas its the "Dai" (midwives) who does the abortion. Also India tops maternal mortality list and unhygenic abortion is the primary cause. Jiah was in complicated situation, she was hemorrhaging due to incomplete abortion. She definitely needed medical assistant. But luckily she got saved but this experience left a deep scar emotionally and she was pushed into depression.

I found this when I used my Google, I don't think jiah was in condition to object, she was already in pain coz of taking some drugs which I assume obortion pills, her condition started getting worse after taking pills, Pancholi talked with gyno to ask what do?, and gyno told him to admit her in hospital but pancholi douch was more worried about his image and non existing career and took matter in his hand, don't know whether he had knowledge about it or not, but he did it and disposed his own child into toilet 🤢 I dont know whether is criminal or not but i am sure he is not human. After that incident jiah was depressed coz after abortion she needed him the most and he started to avoid her.

SOORAJ EXTRICATED JIAH'S FOETUS AS SHE BLED, SAYS CBI

Sooraj extricated Jiah's foetus as she bled, says CBI
'Abetment to suicide' charge against actor.

A charge sheet filed by the CBI in the Jiah Khan case provides chilling details about the actor's pregnancy; how her boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi aided her in the subsequent abortion; and how the termination of pregnancy left her an emotional wreck, possibly leading to her suicide.

Although the special crime division of the CBI -- which was tasked by the Bombay High Court in July 2014 to find out whether Khan's death was suicidal or homicidal - doesn't make a case for homicide, it could make the abetment to suicide case against Pancholi a wee bit stronger.

Khan's mother, Rabia Khan, had moved the high court alleging foul play in her daughter's death and the HC had subsequently asked the CBI to investigate.

The CBI charge sheet, submitted to a sessions court on Wednesday, describes Khan's abortion and Pancholi's role in it in graphic detail. A source gave details of the charge sheet to Mumbai Mirror on the express condition of anonymity and said that Jiah was four weeks pregnant when she informed Pancholi about it. The couple then approached a physician who prescribed some medicines for medical termination of pregnancy (MTP) but that didn't help. The couple then approached another doctor and finally a gynaecologist who prescribed a stronger and more effective combination of drugs.

"After taking the medicine, Khan started haemorrhaging and called Pancholi for help. She was in pain and needed immediate medical attention but Pancholi allegedly asked her to wait and called up the gynaecologist for guidance. He was asked to rush Khan to hospital as the foetus had probably aborted but had not been expelled from the body, which is probably what led to the haemorrhaging," the charge sheet says. It adds that Pancholi was afraid that if Khan got hospitalised, their relationship would become public knowledge and his career could grind to a halt even before taking off. Sooraj then decided to take matters in his own hand rather than risk going to a hospital. He extricated the foetus and disposed of it in the toilet, the charge sheet alleges.

This allegedly left a deep emotional scar on Khan as she was very possessive about Pancholi and the latter started avoiding her, possibly for the sake of his acting career. "This added to her depression which finally drove her to suicide," the charge sheet says.

The earlier charge sheet filed by the Juhu police after Khan's suicide does not mention this incident and it came to light only when the CBI recorded the statement of doctors, who are among the 11 new witnesses examined.

Officially, the CBI was tight-lipped about the contents of the charge sheet and only said that a case under Section 306 of the IPC was made out against a "private person".

Section 306 of the IPC deals with abetment to suicide and carries a maximum imprisonment of 10 years and also a fine.

The charge sheet adds: "The wilful conduct of the accused narrated in the note written by the deceased, her intimate relationship, the physical abuse, the mental and physical torture which she experienced, allegedly led the deceased to commit suicide."

The CBI charge sheet adds that "the accused are presumed to be innocent till their guilt is finally established after a fair trial".

The CBI had conducted a search on Pancholi's house in Mumbai and found several documents, including letters, pen drives and memory cards. "Everything was sent to the Delhi headquarters of the CBI for analysis which provided the team with very crucial leads," a CBI officer said on the condition of anonymity.

The CBI charge sheet has statements of Pancholi's domestic help, the building's watchman, the florist who delivered the last bouquet to Khan just before she allegedly committed suicide and actor Anju Mahendroo.

Pancholi's mother, Zarina Wahab, told Mumbai Mirror: "We came to know about the filing of the charge sheet via media only and we were not intimated by the investigating agency." Wahab added that the family's lawyer will decide the future course of action after going through the charge sheet.

There is nothing called emotional abuse...if some says" I will break up with you if you you won't let me put my hands inside and take out fetus nd make u bleed" ten I am sorry to say the girl is stupid to let someone dictate it...everyone is responsible for his or her actions...she could have said no, just because she didn't say no, people are saying she was emotionally manipulated..what non sense!!

Any normal girl would slap a man if he tries to put his hands inside her vagina nd take out her baby...she was weak, depressed nd stupid to take her life.

In my college , my teacher one day insulted me and 4 of my friends very badly for playing music in lecture hall..she used all levels of abuses in front of 150 students nd insulted us nd suspended us for 2 weeks.. We all were sad ,our parents were called, put everyone took it sportingly, except one of the friends who took his own life, he was a very unstable chap ...the teacher was charged with abetment of suicide... She was later cleared with she had to go through so much of trauma...its really stupid to blame someover over your suicide as suicide is a act on Cowardness

I agree...we should honor him with a biopic instead. Hopefully Salman will play the lead role in Sooraj's biopic.
