Yeah the Japan scene looks like is an alternate proposal scene that was shot... but a different scene was used in the movie.. i can see why... the shot where they walk arm in arm has a kind of closure to it.. but the scene in the film has to transition to the song and flashbacks of kid ved... i dont know if the promo scene would fit..
There will be deleted scenes in the DVD

Did Vedra really have bipolar? Because in the end Tara is researching something on bipolar, did Tara realize Vedra had bipolar when he showed up at her door after he got rejected?

All in all a very good movie and I wish the trailers did justice to it, it is so much more than a finding yourself story.

They showed a brief scene at the end when she is in Japan. I think they might have edited the whole back story of bipolar due to length or going on a different tangent.

I was wondering the same, after seeing the 'bipolar' thing - I went online to see that scene again and saw Tara was attending a conference on 'bipolar consumers in tea' or something like that. 😊

That being said, I read through Imtiaz's chat on Tamasha posted on Facebook, and here's what he had to say (in bold below):

Sukhada Chaudhary What's the significance of the speaker at the conference saying 'bipolar behaviour of the urban consumer' in the background? grin emoticon (ref: Japan)

And here's what I thought what Tamasha was about smile emoticon -

Oh ho in the cinema hall I saw they edited that.Yeah many scenes were edited I hope I get to see them in dvd
