She never got credit for any of her hits .
Majority of her films were directed by Priyadarshan that's can be another reason
Neither she was popular in fans Nor she was from Bollywood industry
Majority of actress who are doing well right now has something in them . Kat . Deepika and Alia are popular among masses and every directors wants to cash on that . And then we have Kangana , Vidya who are brilliant actress . And some are in between Parineeti , Anushka And last Actress from Bollywood Fraternity like Sonam who always have their support system
Rimi was never there . Despite delivering so many hits She didn't get recognition for any of her roles '

She said something on the lines of "He's such a good stylist that he can make a Black African look pretty". Don't remember who it was about exactly.

Rimi came under a lot of fire for making a racist remark while promoting Golmaal. She was quoted by an entertainment portal saying, "I play a sweet and beautiful girl in the film. The best thing that I like about the film is that though it has four heroes, I am the only heroine. Rohit Shetty is amazing as a director. He can make even a black African look pretty."
