Are you guys trying to be funny or what?? S/he clearly meant it in a sarcastic manner to point out how horrid the movie was and how he still promoted it to be a good movie...This forum is so crazy with this kind of derailing of every topic by the fans of Salman and SRK...🥱

Aamir is a hypocrite who shoots his mouth, I agree.

But Aamir and SRK were not exactly saying two different things. Except for the fact that Aamir brought up Kiran wondering if they should move away from India. Also that Aamir's words show how stupid and unknowledgeable he is on these matters.

SRK said

1) Stars do not have freedom or luxury to speak up on issues, because a) they get blown out of proportion, become media fire storms and social media get into a frenzy; b) in India those things mean stones may be thrown at his house, shoots stopped, etc etc. (This is actually an example of a type of intolerance in India. Intolerance and a lack of strong institutions and law and order too, but still an intolerance amongst all kinds groups who employ mob mentality and worse can often succeed in their actions.)

2) He agrees that there is intolerance and growing intolerance in the country. Within this, he is not talking about people like him not being able to go out safely or what not. But regarding the very news and events that people have criticized.

SRK did not say India is intolerant or extremely intolerant or any of those sweeping statements. He said youth and the vast majority of people do not stand and will not stand for the growing intolerance, however he did not deny--and he even agreed--that there is both intolerance and a growing intolerance in some aspects.

SRK is a smart man and can articulate himself very well. Aamir on the other hand, I believe just says stupid stuff, as well as hypocritical stuff, and I don't think he is very intelligent on issues or news. If he or Kiran feel they may want to move from India, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Even if he doesn't really mean it, sometimes a person can be disappointed at seeing state of country politics and want to move or voice an opinion that they should move. It is normal and I'm pretty sure many have heard it or even thought it. But he just comes off as saying things half-baked with no depth or meaning.

Coming to the topic, however, Anupam Kher I believe cherry picked on his defending SRK because he has a good relationship with SRK, and also because those who asked SRK to go back to Pakistan obviously went too far and would have just hurt his beloved party's image. Because Anupam Kher lashes out and name-calls others who have made SRK's same points. He just jumped into speak up to defend SRK against 'go back to Pakistan' calls. That is all. Nothing more, nothing less.
