How does a franchise like Hate Story even continue?

The first two were both Average grossers according to BOI.

Who the hell even watches this shit? The trailer sucks. The songs are bad.

The acting, well let's not even go there.

We know about profitable franchises like Dhoom, Singham, Dabangg, Don, Golmaal, Race etc.

But when a franchise like this is not even that profitable, then who the hell funds a third movie?

Both the films were profitable .And there is enough chance of 3rd one too work ..I loved the first movie tough .There sex was used as a weapon , not just to sell the movie like Hate story 2

The same way Horrex movies work!! It's the erotica genre! They make low budget movies & get their money back- Aur kya chahiye 😆 Music & sex play a big part though!! These type of movies always have the best songs!!

You know I had thought the same for Tanu Weds Manu when its sequel was announced 😆 only sequel which was better appreciated than the first part!!
