Let's compare Sonam and Amrita's filmography.

Amrita Rao Won Best debute award in her first film. She's won total of 10 awards in the minimum work that she has done...she's won best actress award in those awards as well. She's worked only for 6 years and stop working after that but sonam whose been working for more than 6 years, hasn't achieved what Amrita achieved in those 6 years so whatever floats you guys boat.

Amrita = 548K followers

Sonam = 7.58 million followers

And if Amrita was more popular, then the article would have said she was offered the role opposite Salman, not the role of Salman's sister.
