The same is not true today... I like Amrita and yes she is a better actress than Sonam, but I think she was both unlucky and she shot herself in the foot career-wise.

I don't blame her. She was a former Barjatya leading lady and she probably doesn't want that memory of her to be tainted. And she would probably be sidelined anyway.

Let's be realistic instead. After Amrita delivered a few flops, she was hardly asked about. Sonam delivers multiple flops, yet she's sought after by people in Bollywood.

Amrita may walk in fashion shows today, we hardly hear about it. Sonam walks for a designer and it's news everywhere. Idk of people who actually care about following Amrita on social media or her interviews or movies but whatever Sonam does (good or bad) be it her iKaun status, Instagram, Twitter, movies, stupid and obnoxious statements - people actually keep up with it...fans and non-fans both. She IS popular in the real world (fortunately or unfortunately - your call), that too way more than Amrita.

What is this hot mess of trying to pin Amrita vs Sonam. If I was Amrita I'd take whatever I can get just to get my name back out there, cause relevancy ain't on her side. (Which is a shame because she's a good actress)
