I also think she means, she doesn't need the constant validation from all the likes and comments. She's saying she's secure and doesn't want to use social media to gauge her popularity.

She would like to use to interact with fans but not at the expense of trolls. If you go on certain YT pages, there's lines and lines of comments where haters are calling her Trashwarya, the R-word, etc. And then of course comments about her exes, her hubby and her daughter. So she rather stay away for now.

True. But I mean Imran Khan tried Twitter and then left it. Uday left and then came back. Most people just block it, but I'm sure there some sensitive stuff she just doesn't want to deal with like people calling her hubby a flop actor, those rumors that Aara is her and Big B's daughter, etc.. She's also saying that she would never hire an outside agency or her PR to take control of her accounts, but would self-monitor so there's that too. At least if someone else is handling it there's some ignorance and she doesn't have to see the hate, only the love. 😆 Each to their own I guess.

She sounds like a sanctimonious cow. So judgemental...

All celebs on social media are there only to show off their follower count. Any celeb who posts pictures of open sky is vain and only doing to get follower count(Mostly women celebs are the ones who put pics of sky,food etc..so basically taking potshots without taking names). She has millions of hits in Google and surveys and hence already has proved she is more popular than her colleagues while at the same time saying she is not *vain*. Her computer crashed when she used facebook because she was incredibly popular. 😕

She sounds really stupid

When you put it like that, it sounds fine and reasonable. But Ash didn't state it like that. Maybe she's not articulate but the way she said it sounded so delusional and up herself.

How other people are not tweeting by themselves and she would do it herself (since she's so *different*)

How they just post things like sneezes and yawns to get more followers. She doesn't care about that. (But she does since she can't resist pointing out how she already had the popularity based on various surveys and millions of hits on google)

And implies that she would be more popular than her family. lol

She's really something. Reminds me again why she was so hard to like in her earlier days.

Good suggestion lollz snapchat.. only wellwishers allowed lollz! Sure she can hire an agency who can take care of that FB or instagram... but i can understand why she stays far away from all . The comments here proof here mine point already. Aishwarya never ever said it like this what is written in the article.. and people are ready to bash her.. Loll AIshwarya can never do anything right on Indiaforums haha

I can see her POV and understand but I don't really agree with it. I think everything has a good and bad, if you want to be there for the fans then block the trolls like everyone else does. She once said "haters are like a drop in the ocean" so I would think she has this I don't give a damn attitude, but this article makes it seem like the complete opposite.

I'm sure there's other reasons she isn't mentioning. But the last few interviews of hers I read doesn't sound like the same Aish I know. Maybe it's worded improperly or something, or taken out of context. But I could never imagine her saying all the Google search/popularity stuff.
