SRK-Hafiz Saeed controversy: Sonam Kapoor comes to Salman Khan's rescue

At the song launch of Rajshri Production's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Salman Khan was asked about BJP MP Aditya Nath's comment that there was no difference in language of Shah Rukh Khan and Hafiz Saeed.

However, before Salman could give any answer to this question, his co-star, Sonam Kapoor came to his rescue.

On being asked about the controversy, Sonam chose to answer the question on Salman Khan's behalf. She said, "Anything that is intolerant or hearsay that is said without correct evidence is completely unacceptable. People are just saying anything and spouting things out in the name of religion, caste and creed. It is really disgusting. We should focus on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. It is a film about love and tolerance."

Well said Sonam!
