saw the movie, strictly average, movie has all the problems of adapting an eighties story, ..sooraj is cool, got good response from audience for his action scenes, athiya has no screen presence.. movie rating - 2/5

Hero was flat on day two with business likely to be around 6.25 crore nett. The overall business in two days of nearly 13 crore nett is decent but the failure to grow on Saturday may make it tough in the long run. The business failed to grow much in North India multiplexes which was a must as it had low collections there on Friday.
The multiplexes in North India sustain the best so these become very important if the film is to go anywhere especially when there is only a one week window. The film is doing best in areas which tend to fall quicker. The weekend will still get a healthy total of over 20 crore nett but it is all about what happens after.
Heropanti last year had a 6.50 crore nett day one, then a 21 crore nett weekend and lifetime of 51 crore nett so the film can't be written off just yet but it has to be noted that Heropanti had no competition whatsoever while this has a good holdover with Welcome Back and a major release next week.
