They had initially wanted to release both parts one after another in a span of 3-4 months.. but I think because of money and stuff, they decided to release Part 1 first..

- Devasena though many are suggesting that she may be Kattappa's daughter, I'm finding it hard to believe so. The way Kattappa talks to Devasena is not the way a father would talk to his daughter, he talks to her in the same way he talks to Shivgami, with respect and family admiration. Also the way Kattappa would have saved Amarendra's life given the chance to do I find it rare that a father go to this extreme to make their daughter a widow (especially when she's bearing a child) just for a sake of ancestry promise. Not to forget, he treated Amarendra like his son so again the important question arises why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? 🤣

@bold: you see for royals (some not all, hopefully not in Shivgami's case) spending time and eating them is okay but bringing them home and creating a family with them is not okay. Unfortunately it's like what families say, you can hang out with this kind of girl/guy but you can't marry and have a family with them, they're not of that type.

I do feel Devasena has some connection with Kattappa, maybe it's the fierceness both carry however father-daughter seems unlikely. Maybe they trained from the same camp or Kattappa trained her as a kid like he did with Amarendra 😉
