Yo.. This film should release on ordinary times instead of Eid, dussera, christmas etc because most of bollywood's Stars n kings come our with their movie at this time.. So Baahubali will not enjoy the screenspace as it should.. I seriously want to enjoy this movie..

Not like Bhajrangi bhaijaan interrupted its reign in overseas!

ps:meenu,ishita told me that kattappa addressing devasena as 'amma' is a sort of endearment in telugu and tamil.what i meant is in hindi and malayalam dubbed versions,they took the word's literal meaning[and made it as 'maa devasena'-in hindi and 'mata devasena'-in malayalam].

what we dont know if it really was a translation error or they intended the same meaning in telugu and tamil too,which would imply that devasena was respectfully addressed as 'maa devasena' in the past by mahishmati praja[including kattappa] bcoz she became the mother of the new heir prince mahendra [while amarendra was around.] and thus we can assume that it was only after sometime[say a few weeks/a month] of mahendra's birth that all the chaos broke out and amarendra had to go to war.

It was I who told that about Endearment Lassie

I think they literally translated as they words went well with lips sync of actors during dubbing..

But I think Kattappa addressing Devasena as such is just like he addresses Amarendra as Baahu like Sivagami.. Out of affection..

And remember Sivagami was Rajamata out of choice.. as the real queen died.. And Kattappa addresses Sivagami as 'Thalli' Telugu word for Maata..

but Devasena as Amma Devasena.. Just like my Grandpa calls my mother as Lalli maa following which I also started calling her that when i was kid😆, Her father in law calls her Amma lalitha.. My father calls me Amma Meena.. 😆 It goes on.. Even in Tamil elder people address women that way out of respect or love.. Mostly they don't go for just names like today's people

Now can you see the difference? At least in original version? This is how we thought of when we saw in Telugu and Tamil

well,we can just hope that they intended the same literal meaning in tamil and telugu [rather than as an endearment.]so that the situation i mentioned was there and atleast we can see some good scenes btw amarendra,devasena and baby mahendra.just for that.
