Saif - Katrina's Phantom all set to release on 28th August. Here is our predictions on the opening (1st) day, 1st weekend & 1st week box office collection regarding the film. The movie stars Saif Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Sabyasachi Chakraborty in Pivotal Roles. The movie is directed by "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and UTV Films

The trailer worked quite well with its target audience. The music has worked with Afghan Jalebi being declared a hit song and the other song Saware getting decent response. Saif Ali Khan has had a bad run in the last couple of years and he has high hopes from the film. Though Phantom was made much before Bajrangi Bhaijaan, it is coming after an All Time Blockbuster so industry is expecting a good film both critically and commercially. Katrina Kaif is considered a lucky charm and we would have to wait and see how her luck plays out in this case.

We had a chat with leading exhibitor and distributor Akshaye Rathi on Phantom. Here is what he has to say about the film

Q) Your thoughts on Brothers and the opening you expect from the film

A) Phantom looks interesting for multiple reasons! The film has been in the limelight courtesy the controversies surrounding it and the ban on it in certain countries.

Its been directed by Kabir Khan, who has made films ranging from Kabul Express, to New York to Ek Tha Tiger to the recently released Bajrangi Bhaijaan all of which were extremely well made films!

Irrespective of the prospects of its opening weekend, I am quite sure it will be an engaging film and will draw in an audience over a period of time and draw critical acclaim as well.
