Why do actresses like Deepika n Parineeti have no work in hand...despite being young, beautiful, talented. Sonakshi only has 1 film for 2016 and Kangana 1 - Rangoon. Anushka has 1 or 2 films lined up. R the roles drying up for these actresses bcoz of Alia? Discuss.

pari because she doesn't have the looks and also because her acting is limited to playing the loud punjabi girl that everyone can do.

DP, I think she is just being selective. If she is indeed not getting offers then possibly because

a. people are running after Kangy; Piku 1st day proved that she has no star power.

b. she has made some enemies for sure so maybe her reputation preceded her.

Well at least all of them are getting work. What about Amrita Rao. If others are getting chances, why can't she?

I think all the girls you mentioned are in the process of finalizing some more projects. Theres no way all these girls can be jobless

All these ladies you mention are certainly talented and will have more laurels come their way in future. I think the films by themselves are not going on floors that quickly these days... many get announced however they also take long gaining momentum.

DP can't breathe until Xmas. She has 2 big releases. Kangy starts Rangoon after KB releases and then Simran. Anu starts ADHM shortly. PC is overseas but constantly reminded folks back home that she is still alive and kicking😆

Alia is overrated... a few flops, daddy KJO will backoff.

Then force 2

Haseena Parker biopic

Dp is being selective

Anu has only adhm , she'll have to produce on her own

Pc has gangajaal 2 n Mr. Chalu

Kangu has Rangoon n simran

Bebo has up, ki and ka

They all have work apart from Parineeti. But has herself to blame. By doing the exact same role over and over again she comes of as extremly limited as an actor.

Kangana has Ragoon. A project with the best director BW has right now. I would take that eyes closed, over the Shuddhi's and the Kapoor and Sons's...

Deepika has Tamasha and BM out this year. Plus both her and Kangana are being selective. Which is a wonderful thing. It means more good movies.

As opposed to signing every thing. Alia may be signing project left right and centre but that doesnt put her at top.

One project with Sriram or even better with Bhardwaj is way better than ten given by Karan. Just ask Varun and Shahid.
