FILMS which Aamir Khan will CLAIM Next as he Rejected them 1st - Page 3

Aamir literally had the WORST script sense before the 2000's. He did films like Tum Mere Ho and many other regressive films which can almost be categorized as B or C grade films. Then 2001 rolled around and he gave 2 big hits (Lagaan and Dil Chahta Hai). Probably the biggest response he had ever recieved at that point of his career. I think his perspective about cinema changed at that point after receiving the type of response he did for these two films.He took a 4-5 years hiatus after that before Mangal Pandey happened in 2005.So everything he was offered at that time probably went to the other two Khan's and everything before the 2000's was just his poor sense of script at that point.

DDLJ was offered to him? That's brand new information for me. Thank you Aamir for not doing it 😆

Aamir also rejected Sholay,mughal-E-Azam, Mother India, and MPK ..I think!

At least Aamir has done great movies in the last few years..giving us some of the great movies like rdb, tzp 3 idiot and pk.. Again no khans or actor has a great record of picking the best movies all the time.. Aamir has been just better than the rest specially in the last few years..I just think he gets bashed for doing good movies..when others specially salman and srk gets away with craps like above movies..



As far as this thread goes.. Lufanga is bias and troll.. It is just wrong to replay to him.. But I couldn't resist this..

He did terrible movies in the 90's, but he learned from them and started picking better scripts later on in his career. Yes, he doesn't have the best script sense in the world. In comparison to SRK and Salman though he has picked better movies over the last couple of years, but if you compare Aamir with himself, then he did Dhoom 3, which was terrible and PK, which was strictly okay.

So what if Aamir's script sense sucked in the beginning...we all learn from our mistakes...Who hasn't made a mistake when they are young/inexperienced??.I am more worried about those who never learned... with no script sense in their budhapa also..

The 3 Khans actually made each other...or rather Salman and Aamir made SRK while SRK made Aamir. Thanks to Sallu for rejecting Bazigar and Aamir for rejecting Darr...SRK became a star. And SRK rejected films like Lagaan, 3I which made Aamir.

Lagaan was first offered to Aamir...he rejected it and after further writing screenplay and much developing the story Ashutosh went to SRK who rejected it citing date issues,he even approached other actors for it but due to some reason they rejected it...and then he came back to Aamir...
