Its not a question of accepting, its the question of product itself. If someone is good then audience will accept them. The problem is everybody is a star kid and people don't want to see these talentless ugly f**ks for 3 hours. Two out of industry guys got proper break and both of them have established themselves well in bollywood. Ranveer and Sid. Both have projects lined up. Varun is not that good looking but he is talented and hardworking. Same with Ranbir. So they are able to give performances and win audiences.
Now some other kids like Imraan Khan, Arun Kapoor are completely useless. Who is going to watch a movie featuring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. Noone. I had read that Booney kapoor pitched Tevar as a 100cr movie saying its a solid remake and Arjun killed it in the role. No one is going to buy such crap.

I think if bollywood stops making this stupid item numbers, party songs, etc and work harder on story and casting then they don't need to worry about BO. BB showed that a good story can do wonders. Raju Hirani showed that you don't need big names to make the most memorable franchise ever.

This new generation is likely to get sandwiched like actors of 80s.

Just like Anil Kapoor, Sunny Deol etc did well but first got overshadowed by seniors, then got overshadowed by young stars in 90s.

They are getting moderate success. It is no way influencing existing order the way say, Hrithik did.

They are accepted. But not to significant extent except perhaps Ranbir and Varun.
