In India there is hindu marriage act but other r exempted from it. Some celebs converted their religion to keep 2 wives.

In all seriousness though, they have a very rocky relationship. Salman has even acknowledged that his father has never been proud of anything he has done. This was in the 90's.

I'm no pyschologist but I would presume that a lot of Salman's problems are due to what his father did to his mother. If not his legal problems, at least the fact that he has never been able to sustain a relationship is related to Salim Khan. As much as I bash Salman, Salim Khan is a terrible father. If this family has been able to survive, its only and only because of Salma Khan.

Come on Mr. Salim Khan, why shouldn't the women have ambitions too? Doesn't your son have ambitions? To make bigger and bigger blockbusters every year. It's his right. Just as it's the right of any woman to follow her goals. There are millions of women worldwide who have successful careers and are married and have children.

If many women came into your son's life and left, it's not because they were too ambitious and did not want marriage and children. It's because YOUR son could not maintain a healthy relationship.
