The peaceful coexistence of two wives in his life (separate homes though) and Salman's complete, public acceptance of a second mother in the family may make debatable conversation. But undeniably, there's envy too. Salim has been very lucky to have pulled off such a compatible scene.

Salman Khan once remarked that his father, Salim Khan had a good taste in women.

Remind Salim about this and he bursts out laughing. But he cannot help but admit that his son's view is actually an universal truth for all men. "Anybody who says that he is not interested in good looking women is either lying or there's something that is grossly wrong with him. In my opinion, women are the most beautiful and interesting creations in this world.(THARKI BUDDHA 🤢) They must be adored and respected at the same time," says Salim.

We then go on to prod Salim to open up about his two beautiful wives, Salma and Helen. "I'm lucky that I have two wives and that they live in harmony. Never mind if that happened a after a few years later (there were some initial bad vibes between Salma and Helen). My wives are good-looking and now they are ageing gracefully," Salim says.

Surprisingly, Salim still regards falling in love twice, as one beautiful accident that is too good to be true.
"Falling in love twice was a beautiful accident that happened to me. I have survived that accident! Though I wouldn't
recommend it as an ideal way of living. Normally it doesn't work."

Salim continues on a humorous note:,"One speaks a lie under two circumstances. When you earn and lie about it to the Income Tax department. And when you have an affair and lie to your wife. I have lied in both cases. Not otherwise. I am attached to both of them. I love and respect both of them. They also have the same feelings towards me."

But living in harmony with two wives is something that Salim Khan would not recommend for anybody else. "There is nothing like an ideal situation. There is no ideal job and no ideal wife. We have to look at a situation objectively and adjust ourselves accordingly."

Once your wife stops grooming herself, or gains a little bit of weight, and it's been years to your marriage, there are many men out there who have the tendency to fall out of marriage. Would you consider that learn-n-taught behaviour or more like a part of some men's nature.

Men and Women are equally responsible when cheating takes place. Reason why men are blamed because Women are known to value monogamy much more but not all women are like that, this is why we say "men and women both cheat, but differently" looking for physically or emotional connection.

Although I disagree when Men are the only ones blamed in such situations. The woman who he is cheating with is equally responsible and that's all I'm trying to say. both, the robber and the robbed are guilty.

I respectfully disagree with everything that you said. But the two bold parts are very shocking to me.

A marriage is NOT about how beautiful your wife looks, or how well she maintains herself. To say that a wife's lack of so called "maintaining herself" opens the door for the husband to cheat is extremely sexist. Marriage is about partnership, love, compatibility. If you cannot love and respect your own life partner because she has gained weight, or she no longer wears make up everyday, then you never loved her as the person that she is. You never considered her your partner but rather your property, and therein lies the problem with that marriage to begin with.

Plus, what happens when the husband gains weight or is not longer the dashing young man that he was during his early years of marriage?


The third woman or so called mistress is definitely accountable to her own morals or conscience. But she is not accountable to the wife at all. That is all and a 100% on the husband. He is the one that stood in front of God, family and friends to took a vow of loyalty and fidelity to her. This is why I also hate the phrase "home wrecker." It's another misogynistic way of absolving the husband of his cheating ways.

And no offense but Sohail's wife looks like a chihuahua
