Okay so I am in this particular phase of watching movies from the nineties and early 2000s, somehow just somehow :P And despite cringing at many dialogues and songs, I just can't help but somehow still adore those younger Khans and characters which I loved when I wasn't so critical while watching movies😆 And deny it as I would, cheesy oh-so-nice-and-cute-and-sanskaari couples from nineties draw me into a world of much more simplicity..
One such couple I shipped really really hard was Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla *insert fangirlish silly grin here* And honestly, I still do, so much so that even seeing them together in 'Bhootnath' made me happy 🤣

And I can't help but still gush about that absolutely adorable, cheesy and hilarious chemistry that they shared. I haven't seen a LOT of movies in which they have been together, but the ones I have, always make me smile real hard.

Phir bhi dil hai hindustani is one movie which I really like, because it suited the idealistic patriot in me :p And the subtle chemistry and moments between Shahrukh and Juhi really take the cake. It was not a mainstream commercial success and isn't remembered much but I still catch it on TV always. I like how Juhi's character is framed and her Ria Banerjee is as enterprising and competitive as Srk's Ajay. Koi zero yahaan, koi istaaar hai :'D

One two ka four is another movie which does it for me. The very idea of a hilarious undercover cop -Juhi posing as a Marathi household help and Shahrukh, the brooding I-hate-children-guy taking care of his late friend's children is well...very aptly cheesy for my liking xD And somehow, Juhi managed to do comedy without being over-the-top and adorable at once :) And yet again, they have this Chemistry which brings a smile. No jumping off trains or saving damsel in distress scenes make it better.

And finally 'Yes Boss' is much more known for poor old SRK trying to give up on his true love out of loyalty towards his idiotic Boss. This of course is more of a mainstream movie, all with evil villians, massively evil boss, a typical bollywood mother-of-the-hero and protagonists as good as gold. Even though it is predictable and quite typical, the movie has its sweet moments and a personal favourite ''Main koi aisa geet gaun" :D

Another one I watched recently was Raju ban gaya gentleman. Even though I was talking about Shahrukh-Juhi, I really should point out Nana Patekar's job in this movie. He was really, really good in this one, loved him absolutely!

So back to my shipping, Shahrukh Juhi are two actors I really liked together and had a comic timing which somehow made me fall for them and today I randomly felt like just going all fangirl on them 😆

So just that. Would love to see if there are more shippers on board :)

These two were adorable together! 😆
You know sometimes I feel we are too cynical of the movies we watch now. (Not that its a bad thing always). Sometimes you just need a cheesy film or two from the 90s to cheer you up 😆

I'd prefer a cheesy romantic from the 90s as opposed to the current string of masala films anyday!

Coming back to Juhi-SRK,I loved their comic timing 😆 I think I loved them in Duplicate the most.

"Mere mehbub mere sanam shukriya meherbaani karam" used to be my favourite song and I would dance around everytime that song played on tv 😆 That movie was really cute.

I think Shah-Juhi and comedy can never go wrong. The fact that Juhi was the one of first actresses Shah got to work with,he really does adore her. I remember reading an article longtime back that Juhi would help Suhana with poetry etc for school as a favour to Shah.

Adorbs,these two 😆

To add to the above list, There's Duplicate as well, in that one the innocent shahrukh goes all gaga over Juhi in the first half 😆 It has some pretty funny scenes.

Also Juhi's cameo in Kabhi haan, kabhi na is funny too. The way she tries to carry the entire luggage and Shahrukh looks at her 😆 SRK-Juhi comedy scenes used to be a treat. My favourites from the above list are definitely PBDHH and One2ka4, especially the latter, Juhi as the loud, funny care taker was damn hilarous, especially the scene where she is leaving her chawl and everybody starts crying 🤣

What an adorable goofy pair, they were. In almost all their movies.

You totally read my mind on the cynical part :D That is exactly what I felt while watching those movies. I am surprisingly very accepting of flaws in them because they manage to cheer me up so well!

I have seen Duplicate in parts but I remember little, sadly :/ I totally plan on watching it again!

And that song is stuck in my head since forever :P Yeah that is very true. Their offscreen friendship is also written about a lot of times. Totally adorbs😆

Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman is my most fav Shahrukh-Juhi Movie.
An entertaining movie with a good story, songs, characters and a fabulous set of actors. That movie had it all. Nana Patekar, Amrita Singh and rest of the supporting cast were fabulous.

I need to go back and watch Duplicate now :P Hahaha! I remember that, the last scene😆 And bahahaha! Totally, that chawl scene makes me double up everytime, specially the way Shahrukh reacts to all the chawl ladies😆

You read my mind. Just yesterday I was watching Yes Boss and I saw Raju Ban Gaya Gentlemen a few weeks ago and I was thinking just how natural their chemistry is together. One of the most underrated jodis IMO. I even like their scene at the end of Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa where Juhi did a cameo.

Best thing is their comic timing together. At the end of Yes Boss there's this scene where SRK is getting beaten up by Aditya Pancholi's goons while Juhi is arguing with him on why he didn't tell her that he loved her. Anybody else I think the scene would have looked silly. But I think these two have the knack to make these type of scenes work.

I like him best with Juhi. I find their jodi better than SRK-Kajol.
