Piku was a bundle of constipation. And Badlapur was a bundle of gore and disgust. So nahhh thank you. I'll take BB over these two any day. BB is indeed the best movie of the year till now.

It might be a money-spinner and better than most of his other movies, but I'm sure it won't win awards except for Harshali Malhotra and Nawaz's performances.

Just because it has a message, it doesn't become the best movie like Queen was last year.

This year, if there are sure-shot winners, its Piku and Badlapur IMO.

Also the second half was much better than first half and Salmand and Kareena won't win best actor/ best actress for sure.

Its also the technical aspects of a film which comes into consideration - how slick, well-made, smooth and suave a film is. The more drama and over-exaggeration, the less it becomes a great movie and more an average one.

I'd say BB is one of the best, and most relatable films in recent times. It's not a perfect film, but it connects with everyone no matter what the age.
