So Yakub Memon, whom I believe to be innocent ( for the reasons given in my earlier posts ), is almost certain to be hanged on 30th July.

Many people are pinning hope in some relief to Yakub Memon by SC today, but I have no such hope. The petition will certainly be dismissed.

TADA Judge, P D Kode, has said that superstar Salman Khan's tweets in favour of 1993 blasts condemned convict, Yakub Memon are his 'opinion' and that "everyone has a right to his or her opinion as a right to freedom of speech, but the question is how relevant it is.''

But the judge, who sent the younger brother of blast mastermind, Tiger Memon, to the gallows told TOI, "Opinions of those who have knowledge have to be taken seriously and are relevant, not of those who have no knowledge,'' thus hinting that the tweets by Khan were irrelevant. The former TADA Judge, who retired as Justice Kode from the Bombay High Court, said, "People are in the habit of making statements with or without having any knowledge.''

This is why Sallu should choose his battles carefully. Whoever knows the truth behind the Memon case. There might be truth in it. But Sallu being at receiving end of court cases (for offences which on its own are severe) should have just kept his mouth shut.

This country shows outrage for unnecessary things and turns a blind eye towards necessary things.

Will this bullshit ever stop? Pseudo-nationalism is the new name for 'idle mind is devils workshop'.

Our soldiers are dieing fighting for us,while these useless politicians solitary aim is to create ruckus in the parliament. File a petition against that or something.
