Indians couldnt tolerate dastaan which incidentally showed good and bad in both the countries and decided to do voice overs and stuff to change it according to thier perspective.. they why cant pakistanis be "butthurt" if a certain indian movie is out on out anti pakistani or shows their country in a bad light.. they have full right to be offended just as indians do if something is against their country

Border was the biggest hit of 1997. Gadar was the biggest grosser of 2000s decade and biggest hit of 2001.

Bollywood doesn't make films to please certain countries. Neither does Pakistani industry make shows to please certain countries.

well most Indians have NO IDEA about how pakistanis REALLY are...
I was in pak when gadar was released... no hate... no drama... nothing from our side... the film was rented out and has been seen just like any other regular movie... but IN INDIA the indian muslims I read threw patrol bombs on many cinemas and ranted against it.

in pak, all these propaganda films were released, rented out and we used to see all those patriotic jingoism with a pinch of salt...

pakistanis are very chilled-out and relaxed people, as mod as our neighbors are... and NOT comprised of that stereotypical image that most of u have in ur minds (thnx to the media that always tries hard to portray a certain image of pak... and its a TWO WAY story).

You seem to know less about his filmography. Sunny Deol doesn't just play Punjabi characters.

Most of his 80s and 90s filmography has non Punjabi characters.

It's the patriotic films that cause irritation to some. Those 4 films are reason for all butthurt. 😆
