understand that bajirao is prime minister and warrior.. he is not a king... hrithik wouldn't be perfect... ajay would have been equally good as ranveer... but he demanded high fees and bhansali is not some1 who will bow down to aire gaire stars like ajay.

Also Slb is potraying Bajirao life from Age 20 to late 30's when he dies on battlefield. No way he could take 40 plus actors.

Also I heard SLB is very strict he blasts out at actors if things dont go his way. We heard many news of Deepika crying during Ram leela when she couldn't get the monologues right. Most of the Top actors wont be able to put down their ego and be cool with it.

Ranveer's dedication shows well, he looks like a maratha brahmin too, acting looks flawless of what I've seen, and that last line in the trailer was well said with a marathi accent.
