I don't understand the opposite...why is Karan still offering her things? Literally everything they have touched together is a flop. He faced utter embarrassment as a producer with GTPM. In fact, I would bet anything that Kareena herself asked for this item song like she's asked for all her other films, songs recently.

I thought after GTPM they both realized they need to break from each other and I actually thought they did just that. Then this Mary song cropped up from nowhere. And now she's openly saying she wants to do Rohit Shetty's next. If it's Ram Lakhan, then I think they will give her Dimple's role.

I remember after GTPM many people on this forum blamed KJo for her bad decisions. But she's been in this industry for 15 years. She should be able to figure out her career for herself. When DP, PC and Kangana have been able to do it, there are no excuses.

Begum herself is to blame for agreeing to do such item numbers, not KJo. If she didn't think it was good enough she could refuse it.

Am pretty sure it's not Karan but the director of Brothers who approached for the item songs. She was offered Chikni Chameli too from the same director and she refused it. He asked her again for Mary. The director seems like her fan..I don't think it's Karan.

As to why Kareena fans have to justify everything she does. I thought that was every fan not just Kareena fans. In terms of only commenting about her expressions when people criticize her dancing, that's not true at all.

And in terms of hyping up all her roles before she signs them. I can ask her non fans the same thing..why criticize her rejecting the films she rejects before seeing how they turn out at the boxoffice or how the script turns out? People bashed her for walking out of heroine and Bombay Velvent. And we know the fate of both of those films. As fans..I don't think we were hyping up any of her films coming up. We were just excited she was finally doing some substantial work. I think we have complete right to be excited. May I add again, not just Kareena fans..but all fans get excited about their favorites work before they release.

People criticize her because they're not happy with what she IS appearing in.

I know you've brought up that Bombsy a velvet example tons of times, but not everyone thinks lowly of Anushka or Ranbir to have taken it up. Unfortunately it bombed ridiculously in the box office, but I still have respect for them 2 for trying out an interesting role. There is no harm in experimenting and failing; I think a true sign of a good actor is having balls to at least try.

Kareenas repetitive safe career moves only show one thing... That she has absolutely no balls nor trust in her talent.
