She can't act and is getting huge projects whereas more talented ones like Yami, Ileana and Huma are languishing in the background.

I agree Ashiqui 2, EK Villain, and ABCD2 are 100 crore hits but is it because of her or is she just klucky?

She has given a cringe-worthy performance in all of them.

In Haidar, she was the worst/weakest link.

I never see her bashed in this forum.

Even Sonakshi flowerpot Sinha is a far better actor thgan her, leave alone Pari and Alia.

What exactly is making producers and distributors sign her and teenage audience adore her? Just a pretty face? Even she appears awkward and slightly unpolished to me.

That way, even Yami and Sonal Chauhan are so pretty.

Really? hot? like, skinny is considered "hot" nowadays?

I can understand that description for Katrina but malnutritioned is not hot.

The audience loves her and that's why producers and directors cast her. The actresses you mentioned Huma, Ileana, Yami...are to boring NO screen presence. And Shraddha is getting better with each movie she's doing. And it's not her fault if those actresses don't have to many fan following:)

But if Deepika can improve after 5-6 years then why can't shraddha get a chance. She is hardly 2 years old and seem to be improving.

She was quite good in ABCD 2. Also she is pretty, can dance really well and has good screen presence

I would anyday watch a shraddha movie over parineeti. And let's not forget how cringe worthy alia was in SOTY. Imtiaz brought the best out of her.

She seems to have signed the right movie at the right time. None of her films were hits because of her, but they are her hits nonetheless. You keep giving hits you will be recognized as a money making machine so producers will sign you.

As for why she's not bashed here, I think it's because she's relatively quiet. She doesn't make W*F statements, she doesn't bash or takes dogs at her colleagues. Even her love life is rarely in the news. Actually unless she's promoting you don't see her much so there isn't much to bash.

In a lot of ways it's a good thing. But in a lot of ways she lacks excitement and hype and is boring and can easily be forgotten.

Shaddha is not 2 years in industry,, she s been here for 5 years now..

I think she got lucky with ashiqui2.. N in BW acting is not the main reason Y stars get movies.. Esp for girls.. If u look at katrina .she was top actress for 4yearS..

She is next Katty like so many members said.She has a pretty face and good dancing skills once she gets ugly and stop dancing they will be like "Shradha Who?" same case as Kat. Talking about bashing I don't see a strong fanbase for alia or Parineeti or any of her Contemporaries (In IF)..Once we get 1 for both Shraddha and her Contemporaries they will automatically start making posts how shraddha is bad actress and cannot carry a film on her shoulder like the case of Salman where Srk/Aamir fans claim that he cannot act and does only masala movies to earn 100cr in BO. Or if her Bf is someone else's ex then automatically the Ex's fans will start bashing shraddha for her acting.Example: Dp and Kat.
