I thought the turn out wasn't that bad. the only one conspicuous by his absence was Karan Johar- certainly expecting him. I thought AbhiAsh and Hrithik would turn up . Hrithik is in town and he is friends with Kapoors- but I guess he has stopped attending weddings😔. Except these two almost everyone is there. You can't expect Sahid's exes to come with their spouse. And he has quite a big list of exes to begin with- Khans he was never been very closed to and Akshay and Twinkle never attend such parties- almost everyone else turned up.

The guy personally even texted all the invitees

The hardly guy himself is not a social person or neither is the son /sister of some superstar ...so that whole BW would come to his reception .
However what you call "A Listers" like BIG B did attended the wedding .
Shahid gives a f**k about other celebs , he made into this industry by his own ..doesn't have much BW friends so yeah ! his family and close friends came and that's what matters :)

i am surprised tabu , amrita rao and sonakshi, jacky weren't there

farhan, hrithik, they almost seem to party with shahid at the iiffa awards?

but the turnout really wasn't bad, so many of new happening young heroines, amitabh bachan, and so many producers and directors

happiest to see Imtiaz there, keeping my fingers crossed for a shahid, alia movie with Imtiaz, a love story along the lines of jwm.

And Shahid should not worry about not getting the Khan's aashirwaad! If I was him, I would actually be relieved. One of the Khans has been a divorcee, the other one is still a virgin at 50 and the third one is reportedly bigamous. I think its okay not be blessed by these three!😆

Also, one can spare HR for not attending this do. He's just gone through a divorce. I am sure, attending wedding related functions is the last thing he wants to do.

The turnout actually looks okay, after seeing all the pics.

Actually Shahid's wedding got a lot of coverage on Indian TV newschannels and newspapers. There was a lot of hoopla abt his grand wedding.

i dint know why people here are flipping. i never mentioned khans. 😆 there are many other ppl that didnt show up. and his fans need to be a sport rather then hating on them😆

salman has promoted shahids haider and phata poster while nobody else gave a f**k about him. plz dont forget😆

What is with the over reaction to people missing? They might have had earlier commitments and must have explained to Shahid personally. They do not need to inform everyone through social media. Except KJo of course, who is clearly doing nothing important.

Abhishek Bachchan is in Australia.

SRK was in Bulgaria and if he did come back, it was because Subhash, his spot of 25 years (basically entire career), passed away form cancer yesterday. No wonder Gauri did not come either.

I am sure the others may have had their reasons too.
