People have deviated a lot, so here is one thing that people are missing regarding the "clashes" here.

All of SRK clashes (ddlj vs yarana,kkhh vs bmcm, mohabattein vs mk, veer zara vs aitraaz, oso vs saawariya, jthj vs sos) up until now have been the Diwali releases (Ghatak vs Raja Hindustani clash too was on Diwali). There were also GM vs Kyunki, GR vs Action Replay etc

Diwali has traditionally been India's biggest festival across the board. Some big banners used to reserve this holidays for there biggies and clashes were a regularity in this period for years. Even today getting a solo release for Diwali is the biggest deal for a movie.

Look for clashes outside Diwali and we would be hardly having few such cases with top stars. In fact Aamir has had three such non-holiday clashes Dil, AHAT and Lagaan.

Before Aamir made Christmas and Salman made Eid an annual affair, these festivals didn't enjoy the same status as Diwali. Its like any other week with one extra holiday. Films over the years had randomly seen success around these festivals but it wasn't the same like its today and were no where comparable to Diwali period.

So its not like no one feels threatened but rather whoever clashed they knew Diwali could take multiple films and still generate revenue. Just look the weekend cumulative numbers of OSO vs Saawariya or JTHJ vs SOS to get an idea.

Srk ne Sanjaya, Anil, Sunny, Akki, Ajay sabke sapne pe paani pher diya... 😡 They were all close to become superstars.. but Srk stole the thunder from them.

You're the one who have comprehension problems I guess.
If you already gave credit for SRK clashing than how can you claim he doesn't?? Lol
If you think he didn't have a choice, I choose to see otherwise, he cld've take another release date.
Remember both times he's the one initiated the clash.
Both Ajay and Akshay booked the dates before SRK Lol

Let Aamir or Salman do the same then we will talk. 😆

Aamir was never superstar till Gajini and salman was never a superstar till 2009. SRk was always been there... buahahahahaha
