She doesnt looks like heroine mterial... Someone is made for Tv only and undoubtfully she is one of them...and i m judging her by her looks not acting...i havent seen her any work but what i've heard abt her is she can easily beat srk in acting...so hopefully it turns out to be true...BUT STIL i m damn sure she is here for very short time

Mahira is not a top star material.

If she acts well, and if Raees does good she'll get more offers and fame but I don't see her ever becoming a superstar 😕

The only difference is, while in Bollywood every good looking individual is thrown into the industry there's a lot of beauty to beheld where Mahira came from. That's why its hard to match bollywood beautiful actors to mere mortals.

When u r well aware of India has so many other film industries other than BW where many beautiful girls r "thrown in". I can also tell that they r millions of next door girls who even without make-ups look more beautiful than Deepika.

So no mate... not EVERY good looking individual is thrown into BW.

And I agree, judging a Big country with huge population is always false... coz there so many layers within the layers. Thats what I say to ppl who Judge India on basis on their BW or media knowledge. India is WAY bigger than that.

When u hear from TV, India is winning.. it shud strike one that they r talking abt Cricket, If therez a bomb blast in Pakistan, doesnt mean whole Pakistan is blssted with bombs, there r rapes in India doesnt mean Indian males r all rapists, Taliban killed 300 kids doesnt mean all kids r unsafe in Pakistan... it goes on and it applies to all countries.

If we narrow down to a particular issue, then yes, its a debate. As in this topic, no I dont think Mahira has it in her to make it big in BW.. but who knows. As for Raees, just hope the movie is good and she ACTs well to play the character.

No issue butting in. That was a personal opinion. It doesn't have to be correct. What I said has nothing to do with Mahira's fate in BW. I myself said it's impossible for her to make it in BW. Beauty's debatable, but talent's not. BW's a political place, not much place for such.

it too far.. but u lecture some1 abt media knowledge is false and thats ur view on others' opinions.

BW is not political, at worst its nepotism. Rahul Gandhi was defated so badly by a chailwala in India. SRk is king and abishek is nobody. If politics has its way, no pakistani wud enter India.

Saw the trailer for Bin Roye! Damn, the movie looks interesting! I never expected such great production values and locales ect!

And Mahira actually has a good screen presence. Okay, now the Balle Balle song also seems to make sense and why she looks expressionless in it!😆 Her sister is marrying the guy she loves, so obviously she is upset. Read the story also, sounds nice! What a pity they don't release Pakistani movies in India, will have to watch it on the Net.

The only thing is that she looks a bit on the mature side for the role she is playing. The girl playing her older sister looks much younger than Mahira. But its apparent, that her role is the strongest in the film and I guess that is why she was taken. Sometimes, you need a strong actor even if they don't meet the physical requirements of the role.
