Same thing happened with RK..films changed roles changed.

While they partied around the world and barely complete their schedules ..back home,the rest toiled hard.

Now both don't seem to fit in the new scheme of things..

Her problem is to working hard for her Item numbers than actually on her role. So that was not a problem till now with the Khans and HR. So if her acting still suffers than she can be happy that she marrys the Kapoor boy and play there the glamouros part in his life forever. But onscreen its not enough especially now since everybody wants to see good acting and looking good is a plus plus. In her case the latter began also to suffer through her experiments in her face. So lets wait about her power without any item number in her upcoming movies since there is no Khan or Roshan.

I think you are right... things have changed a lot in last 3 years...
both Kat and RK don't seem to fit in the new scheme..

As an actor you have to keep rediscovering yourself.

Times are changing taste change rapidly to hold on to attention the actresses have to reinvent themselves. Kattu is not versatile she doesnt act, she looks same, her offscreen is same distant aloof nature. New genration wants to be more closer they want more real star.

Imagine I am feeding you chicken biryani , morning afternoon evening for 10 years. Thats what is happening with katrina. She thinks this is what masses like, so I will give them this. Masses like my item numbers, thry come for movies seeing the heros. So I will work with khans n roshans. But she should even think might be audience is giving her chance seeing her work in namaste london , rajneeti, ajab prem. She underestemates herself. Duting movie lucky salman was mocked for being oldy n working with teenage girl on mtv. But he reinvented himself, than again after giving some stale movies again he reinvented himself during dabang. Movie business is about reinvention. Or people movie to the next happening thing. Recent example of reinvention is deepika and kangna. N working on sync with media created image of stars also helps. Salman cashed on radhe ( phyco lover) , dabang ( daredevil salman ). Deepika cashed on cocktail ,( heart broken girl) yjhd( love for ranbir) and piku ( women empowerment)

nothing wrong with Katrina. She still the same. But now she s not e only one item girl in the industry. Bollywood already have other choice, Sunny Leone, Jac and Nargis, who can swings better butt and breasts better than her. Moreover, Sunny Leone was the most desirable indian female for 2014.

Every actress come with a expiry date in Hindi film industry
They are no more number 1 after a certain period of time
Look at Kajol, Kareena of the recent lot
They are still in demand, people likes to see them onscreen but they are no more number 1 even if they have gallons of acting talent

For Katrina, she has achieved more than she deserved
She has survived mainly because of her looks. screen presence and her dancing skill
After one time why would people want to talk about someone who is not much beyond that and where the younger version are available.
Lets see if she can reinvent herself with a role like Fitoor
