Her contemporary Deepika has evolved a lot by experimenting with diffrent roles.

I still remember during 2008-2009... Katrina was in much more demand than Deepika.

I an not a big fan of Katrina.
She basically is successful because of Salman.
her cheating episode behind Salman is a big turnoff.
She might have been the cause being Deepika and Ranbir breakup.

While the stronger competition is true, there is enough work for everyone. Looks like currently bollywood does not have good heroines. Most of the current lot looks like it is under training, petite, no acting skill. A small success is making them arrogant, unpleasant.

There is one logical answer that I can think that it lack of reinvention!

She's been doing the same kind of roles and work for almost 10 years - there's only so much you can get away with! This is where Deepika and Kangana have the advantage they are constantly reinventing themselves and doing different things

I don't think she's totally out of the picture but she has declined. Jab tak hai Jaan was supposed to be her big ticket to superstardom and It was supposed to make her an "actress" but it hit her hard.

The rising of Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti and Alia has also affected her cuz they're the future.

Yes there was a time when Salman was promoting her coz she was his girlfriend at that time..

Salman has intoduced many heroines in BW but not all of them made it big.

We were thinking what so many couldn't..legendary director Yash Ji would do...make her act a bit..all had highest hopes on it..main role..yashraj..srk..AR Rahman..it cannot get better

Absolutely agree with you.
She has been doing similar roles and also doing very few films.

Sonakshi also does similar roles but somehow manages to stay in news by doing half a dozen films every year😆😆

But katrina's obsession with fillers and botox reached to such extreme heights in 2012 then she stuffed her face with so much of it that even Yash Raj couldn't make that immobile face move

I also feel loss of confidence. Till 2011 she seemed more interested and confident..with ZNMD and MBKD but then deepika rose so high followed by all the newer lot..she seems to have given up now

The kind of reviews she is getting now after more than a decade here..she never even got those in her initial years

Also she knows she looks bad now. It shows in her body language
