Top Overseas Openings - Dil Dhadakne Do Tops

Dil Dhadakne Do is the top opening Overseas this year with a $3.1 million plus. The top Overseas openers of 2015 are as follows.

1. Dil Dhadakne Do - $3.12 million

2. Tanu Weds Manu - $2.74 million

3. Piku - $2.13 million

4. Baby - $1.53 million

5. Baby - $1.23 million.

The final figures in The Gulf were little lower as should have gone to $1 million but finished the weekend at $825,000. North America was $1.35 million and United Kingdom $215,000.

I watched DDD on Sunday evening. Mind blowing. All star cast is fabulous.

Bahot dinon baad movie enjoy ki hai. Very nice movie.

Dil Dhadakne held up well on Monday showing a fall of 40% apprx. It was similar trend all over with most circuits falling in same range. Delhi/UP was better. The first four day business of Dil Dhadakne Do is as follows.

Friday - 10,00,00,000

Saturday - 12,00,00,000

Sunday - 14,00,00,000

Monday 5.75-6 crore

TOTAL - 41.75-42 crore

The week should go to around 55-56 crore nett which would be a healthy first week total and then remains to be seen how the new releases affect in the second week.

Its just bad luck

it's understandable if she went with SEL again for DDD, because ZMND album was bomb. It was accepted so well, and the soundtrack melded EFFORTlessly with the background tracks and the scenes.

It really was bad luck and this is why I sometimes feel bad for the way it works with music composition in Indian movie music industry... composers have to compose when they're called to do it, not when they feel creatively ready enough.

Hence it can definitely be hit and miss more often than not.

55-56 first week according to BOI, so that's good. Now to become a Hit, they have to hope Hamari Adhuri Kahaani doesn't have good content hence it flops and then it will be advantage DDD. 😆

that is not a nice thing to hope for at all! :( I love DDD and watched it.. I am going to watch HAK too.. it seems beautiful from the promo..
hope both movies work!

Producers ke liye sabka dil kyu dhadakta hai? What they spend,what they earn..what holiday,how many screens,what clash etc

If your are a fan of an actor,pray that he/she increases the fanbase,that people have a good experience at the theaters and the film has a long run and the media and janta remembers the film on a positive note.as one of the good,if not defining films of their career...
