Though I felt the movie is pretty average...I didn't like your analysis for the movie at all...dont know why but just didn't ...no offense

None taken!
I said I actually related to the movie if u read that again u will realize it!😆
And i am actually one who wrote I enjoyed watching it in my 1st review.. basically cz of great acting and the bro-sis relationship which is like a mirror image of what i share with my own brother..

Its jsut that the backdrop might not be relatable to people from masses.. not really the incidents..or outcomes..

Jeez! Princesssunara told what she liked in the movie and found relatable. In fact, she was defending the movie. 😕 It's weird when people quote her and say "I don't like your analysis" while she is sharing her personal experience and relating it to the scenes of this movie. Weird

Thank u!! 😆 I was telling why i liked it.. or found it quite realistic to what i know and understand..

If some xyz person is hurting sentiments of some group so obv she/he will have to face criticism .Iam myself an indian and i felt weird after seeing her post .

Its sure a democratic country but no one gave u right to point a finger on our breed for the sake of just a film .

It depends upon the taste of audience thts it .There is nothing bring lines like Indians are regressive n all crap ...🥱

Sorry if I offended anyone but that is just how I feel let's agree to disagree and move on

I won't say some, but most are like that, box office shows so

The thing is , you cannot generalize to the extent that you end up making highly bigoted statements like " Indians are regressive " , when you go as far as that , there is no excuse to cover up your blatant bigotry .. and making such statements bcoz a commercial candy floss film like DDD didnt perform to your expectations is even more absurd .. even while discussing more serious issues other than the disappointing box office performance of a commercial film , one needs to take care of the fact that one doesn't end up being a bigot in the process , or else what happens is , you call others regressive while claiming yourself to be progressive but end up being a regressive bigot yourself.. 😆.. tell you what , i too have talked about the audience demand for crappy khan films & films with good content becoming a success is always welcome .. the Indian audience appreciates good cinema with good content , it has been proven over & over again .. however , as far as cinema is concerned, entertainment is always the prime factor ( & thats not even restricted to India , its the same world over ) , the Khans star power is again a different matter , they are in their own league at the moment but then again the same star power & entertainment driven craze is found worldover .. whats so progressive about twilight saga , fifty shades of grey , mission impossible series, fast & the furious series etc etc - it all boils down to entertainment .. but if entertainment is well packaged with meaningful preaching & becomes a success then there is nothing like it ..it happens on rare occasions world over - PK is an example .. Piku too performed..

Preachy films rarely become blockbusters world over , check the list of highest grossing movies in world cinema , the ratio is seriously biased towards entertaining films & not preachy films .. i dont see how you can single out Indians like that unless you have a personal vendetta .. 😆

****************************

@ members who have watched DDD

I havnt seen the film yet , so plz enlighten whats so preachy/progressive/feminist about this supposedly candyfloss commercial film ?.. i did not get any preachy vibes from the trailer & songs - just a fun ride with rich dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise vacation ..😕 .. is it another PK , English Vinglish , Piku or something like that ? .. 😕

AMAZING MOVIE. ❤️

I enjoyed it completely. Such a relate-able, feel-good, beautiful movie it is.

PRIYANKA/Ayesha: PC is too gorgeous for words. One of the best actresses of bollywood. I felt bad for her, felt hopeful for her, just everything. She is fab.

RANVEER/Kabir: BEST DAMN PART OF THE MOVIE. He is just too good. Love him forever and cant wait for his next movie.

ANIL/Kamal: In awe of him. He was flawless and felt absolutely real.

SHEFALI/Neelam: She was perfect at every scene. Lovely actress.

Rest all characters were good too, Anushka was so beautiful and fun, the girl who played Noorie is stunning and Vikrant Massey is such an eye candy, cutie pie ❤️

Loved it so so much. Great work and I hope it excels at box office too because it deserves it 👏

i love it when people made fun of bv gave their opinion even without watching it but with ddd to make its fun we should watch the movie😆 always diff rules fr diff priority here😆
ddd has so much expectations. so much of superstars ...yet it failed to deliver tht much.never liked zoya work. she can make 10000 of wannabe movies never can match his bro dch level.
and wow we are into calling into whole nation regressive by just not watching a movie...😆

Dissing DDD or TWMR is not gonna do any good/bad to any of the films!
So ya, better stop the drama

maybe.. its just that this is exactly what i said about it when i gave my initial review too.. that it was a lot of fun even if quite dragging at time, but it still was a strictly multiplex movie..

And just to clear things, are u telling this movie was less about a fun movie and more about giving a strong message?
I enjoyed the way feminism was well shown in it.. but i thought it was not the main intent.. it was a by product of having a fun movie.. and showing a kinda realistic situation even in the upper echelons in the society..

maybe ya hit music would most likely dragged single screen audience in at least for the 1st weekend.. see i don't live in India, so I just know some aspects of it through stuff I have read and observed from things..not first hand..
