yah Not ambitious that's why to save her career , when no one was offering her any movie she produced a movie for herself and dated a Cricketer when she had no release for two years to stay in news 😉

Yach Chopra, Raju Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, KJo - the set of directors she has been working with/lined up to work with when she decided to do both things u said.. lol.. producing her own movie, which btw was an A rater thriller.. which no one would consider a safe bet!

anyway well people part claimed she fell in love when there were no releases, then accused that she decided to hide her love and create interest for PK promotions. then said she continued to refuse to talk but talked about not talking when she was repeatedly prodded on it for NH10 time..

So please tell is it her fault that she fell in lvoe and the banda is the Test skipperand poster boy of the Indian cricket team?

She doesn't have it in her to what make it to the top, but still I thought this would be Anushka year, I don't know what went wrong really.

I for one can't stand what she did to her face, I used to like her bubbly personality and cute smile but now looking at her just irritates me.
Maybe that only add to her shortcomings

You get flak if you have substantial roles in them. By doing extended special appearances..you obviously won't face the brunt but then your career gets stagnated too

Baring NH10..she was just there in all her recent movies which is not impressive

People overdid the 'so and so will be so and so' as usual, that's what went wrong 😆 What's on paper and what actually pans out is extremely different. So you can write about the supposed success of actors or actresses here based on the number of movies that they're rumoured or signed on to do with xyz directors, but one movie does better business than their work was expected to or one contemporary gives a more commercially/critically acclaimed performance...and it doesn't matter how many movies you were doing. You're competing with the work released in the industry, not functioning within a vacuum of your own work which is all supposed to turn out amazingly. Kangana stole everyone person's thunder in Bollywood this year with a movie that pretty much no one was anticipating. Everyone else pales in comparison, man or woman.

If we're to talk about Anushka herself in a vacuum though, she is at the best stage of her professional career and personal life since she's come up with pretty solid security in both areas within the last 2 or so years. She's almost worked with everyone she wanted to work with (looks 'over it' in many interviews by how she talks about it) and has her own production house. When she takes up pretty much a cameo role in a movie (DDD) for the heck of it, you can tell she isn't fiending after spotlight or the #1 spot as people like to believe. She's doing work that she wants to, regardless of how meaty it is or not...that's the simplest way to put it. Looks like a good position to be in to me, because it doesn't seem she worries too much about what she's doing...it's just a day of work, not something she's cornering herself into depression for. She's got her name attached to PK's commercial success, NH10's critical success, DDD's 'urban buzz' and came out as one of the 'victims' of BV rather than shouldering much/any(?) responsibility for it...even if ADHM ends up being her last movie in Bollywood, she'll be considered as moderately successful and people will remember her as an actress that could actually act.

I didn't care for her or her character in DDD. Out of all the supporting characters, she was the weakest one. Ranveer's chemistry with everyone was spot on so I can't even say that they stood out. Shit, RS-PC stood out more as siblings. And she was suppose to be a dancer yet in the Swing song, PC's movements were mroe crisp and in general much better than Anu's.

I don't know, but of late I'm so turned off by her. Like even in PK, she was good but her face made it cringe-worthy to watch. I enjoyed her so much more in BBB and LVRB and RNBDJ. She needs to re-structure her career and her script sense. So much talent but such bad choices.

why would u say things have gone wrong for her...She didn't have any release after MKBKM for 2 years and then comes back with 4 films...all of which cud have flopped...PK- blockbuster, NH10-Hit, DDD-on it's way to becoming a hit. 1 flop from 4 films is really not that bad. People keep going on about her face but acting wise she has been praised in all 3 of them... Now it depends on if she can make the most of the progress made...

As already mentioned she takes it slow, does too few films, and is not crazily ambitious...even if she was a few years ago she certainly doesnt seem to be now with her relationship becoming an important part of her life... she has done decent for a BW outsider with girl next door looks...

I like your advice but i don't want to follow it
