Anushka - What went wrong?

So DDD have been released finally. That makes Anu's third film this year. However it was a small supporting role which didnt help her much. Before PK released, almost everyone expected Anu to do better and go on to be the actress of 2014. Though PK became the top movie and Anu was generally appreciated for her role, it didnt propel her to top as expected. Again many expected 2015 will be her year since she had three significant releases. Even though NH10 was appreciated critically, it did decent business. Nothing extraordinary. BV changed everything, only more negativity for her. Though she didnt bear the biggest brunt with BV failure, it also meant that she would have to be stuck at a phase where she was after JTHJ. Although many knew it was just a supporting role in DDD, like me I expected her to shine alongside Ranveer, with whom I believe she makes the best pair with. Again, her minisicule role has disappointed her. She had done supporting role in JTHJ as well, however its another story how she was the only good thing about that film and how she went onto win several awards for it. So with the repeated downs in her career, what actually went wrong? I think she is a good actress, infact I liked her more than SRK in her first film. She deserved the debut award more than Asin. She came back strong with BBB. Was it too much expectations? Do you think she can bounce back with ADHM? Was her lip surgery the catalyst that brought her down? Or was it her relationship?

Ill be honest..it requires a lot of patience and tolerance to bear that face on screen. I just cannot stand her..she is a decent actress but the face is ruined for me to wana watch her.

I cannot warm up to her anymore. The way she speaks..her smile..it is all altered

Sad coz i really liked her during BBB and patiala house days. That spark..charisma and innocence is vanished

Also this year is too thanda for her

With piku and TWMR..no one remembers NH 10 anymore

BV less said the better

DDD..too less a role to matter whether hit or flop

There are great doctors in LA..some help on face..some rethinking on career aspects and she can bounce back

On the contrary I am liking her better PK onwards. I think she has finally come out of her bubbly, jhalli image now. Only problem is she doesnt seem to know how to encash on her success. She has no films on hand apart from ADHM which will release sometime late next year.

I must say in DDD she looks really good and whatever she has done to her face it doesnt irritates as in PK or BV. There is a little hope

I must say she is really good now than PK atleast...why everyone is behind Anushka face and peecee accent these days...lol

Why are people surprised? When has Anushka ever made an impact? She has pretty much always been hanging on the sidelines. I mean... think about it. She has worked with SRK, Aamir, Akshay, Ranbir, Yash Chopra, Raju Hirani...the supposed creme de la creme of BW yet she has never made an impact. She is not star material. She will never be. I've been saying this since 2008. Does not really matter how many surgeries she gets or who she works with. Some people just don't have it in them to shine.

She is doing better than before nobody from critics and audience notice anything wrong. Her only lacking is not possessing ambitious quality. For anushka the movies, stardom and success is not her everything. I think she wants to settle down with Virat. she wait for movies if something interests her from the offered movies only then she does it. She doesnt compete for it she is the only one who doesnt care about her current and future standing in bollywood.
