Is anushka really that bad in DDD? - Page 2

Thats the thing Anushka has never been 'bad' in any film...if she isn't great then u can atleast expect her to be decent in her role. The DDD reviews have all praised her despite the role being limited, and she is getting alot of love on twitter for such a small role. People r liking her chemistry with ranveer especially their first meeting scene in which they swim together...

To me she did have the character to shine cause she is the one who makes Ranvir to speak up! But her dialogue delivery seemed so bad and I cringed in those scenes! She does speak weird now after her lip job I guess I don't know what happened :|

Anushka Sharma, playing a dancer but assuredly more comfortable on stage here than during her last debacle, is pretty great here as she concocts heady chemistry with Singh, the two infectiously grinning at each other as they fool around.

Sharma and Singh are smashing together, starting off their courtship hurriedly, with the kind of conversation people used to have on the Internet back in the day " throwing factual stats about their life out onto the table as if playing verbal Uno " but rather than seeming unnatural, it works because they make it seem believable that these two characters urgently want to get really close really fast. Sharma, more world-weary, is at times hesitant, and Singh " playing a leading man, who, refreshingly enough, has achieved nothing and knows nothing about where he's headed " approaches the romance bullishly, in that reckless way we do when we finally know what we want.

Sad, Anu usually shines in whatever role, in JTHJ she was the only saving grace...
Farhan also had a small role but looks like he made his mark... But Anu not being able to deliver or even look the part is sad... Lips don't lie I guess...

OP doing the most in every thread to get on Anushka's case 😆 Maybe she's finally arrived though...so many topics dedicated to her on the front page today! As one of our lovely members would say, something silly about people talking, attention, buzz, number of topics and pages...

Going to watch today !! Can judge after watching ! But I haven't been disappointed in Anushka in any of her roles so far.. So yeah.. Dont know, lets see !
