Reason behind Dips Big B Tussle

Screen father-daughter ego tussle over price issue?
Everyone knows that a certain top actress didn't invite her respected co-actor to the success party of her film. It is said that the actress credited "only" herself for the film's success and was heard bragging behind closed doors.

When it came to the party she hosted, she of course conveniently left out her legendary co-actor from the invite list. When the media asked him about it, the superstar candidly admitted that he was missing because he wasn't invited. In damage control mode, the actress who felt sheepish about missing out her senior's name, blamed it on a technical glitch!!!

Phoney excuse this, say others who trooped to the party. They add, she had followed up with every one of them multiple times via text messages ensuring their presence. Anyway, one heard that the ego tussle between the actress and the senior actor started over remuneration for the film. If trade reports are to be believed, both of them have gotten paid exactly the same amount of money. It is not as if the actress was even willing to take a price cut because somewhere she believes she is as tall as her co-actor in the acting department!

Deepika might have flaws, might have ego issues but she isn't that stupid to think that she can compete with acting talent of Bachchan! She is not that damn or delusion! She is a smart lady and this isn't Deepika for sure (as in attitude wise)

Even if its issue of remuneration, Deepika has right to price same amount as BigB because right not she has more ability to catch balls or bring audience to theater than BigB. Just see record of films they have done in last 2-3 years.

So if Deepika didn't cut her fee because of this reason - she is right in doing so!

I doubt money is the issue..She should be fighting with the producers,not BigB.

But,Shoojit seems to be fine..he was there at the Telegraph party in Kolkata with DP.

I love BigB..and I wanted Irrfan and DP to gush a bit more about BigB than they did during the promotions...I don't know what went wrong..😔

Isn't remuneration on basis of star power? Are actresses so much behind in BW that they can't get paid more even if they are the ones currently on top and the most saleable star in the film?

Whatever AB is his days of glory are past. Or he ought to get more money because his company was also co producer?

Guess actresses have to stay in their place even if it's they who are the biggest draw in their films!

The brand value of AB Sr is much higher than that of Deepika...simple...Just his name adds value to the movie...true his appeal is not that much because most of the movie goers have no loyalty/attachment with him...just like 20 years from now the generation then wouldn't know the Khans and flock to the theaters for them...but brand wise they would still be bigger than any of the Varuns or Sids..

Although I absolutely despise Deepika, but if the issue is over Paycheck, then I believe female stars should be equally paid as much as their male co-stars are getting.. But I dont get why that would upset Big B ? 😆 This article makes no sense !!

She deserves the equal pay, it's actually her who brought the eyeballs. That buddha is no crowd puller anymore...example being his recent dud called Shamitabh
