Abhishek is a decent guy and a reasonably good actor.

He acted well in Yuva, KANK and Paa.

He gave a few hits with Rani Mukherjee, they looked really good together. If they had paired more, he would have been more successful.

He did have lots of flops but still got roles, because of nepotism of course.

But hes not as bad an actor as some of the other star sons, who had absolutely no acting talent or personality but still shoved down our throats.

I find it offensive that hes made fun of because his wife is more successful than him. Which year is this? Last I checked its 2015 and there are many guys out there whose wives earn more than them and the guys are not bothered by it.

That says a lot abt those gentlemen's attitude towards gender equality, they dont have bloated egos and are fine with wife being more successful. 👍🏼

Ranbir & Abhi is shoved down out throat if their father's hype them.

But launching/re-launching HR is seen as best thing.

What's wrong if the father's are encouraging their kids? One is spending money, others are praising them everywhere. You also have different definitions.

And it was not me who got on the high horse first. You get aggressive easily.

Wife being more successful is not a gender issue.

But about getting undeserved attention, just due to wife.

Otherwise NOBODY would have invited him to Cannes or Oprah.

Nobody would have cared once his dad died or retired.

Now he can get perennial attention due to wife.

Nobody would have paid him 20 crores for a pressure cooker ad unless Ash was there in it!

Abhishek first leeched off his elders. And now his wife.

I bet he wouldn't get such defense from likes of Hetal either if he was not Aishu's hubby. Ash's fanbase and dad's fanbase keep suppprting him!

To clarify, I am talking about making films for a LIKED guy.

Hrithik won over public. This is why KNPH and KMG are biggest hits of the year.

Ranbir was dhakka start and never won over public the way HR did. He is better than Abhishek though.

KNPH mania is real. It wasn't manufactured. There is difference in calling someone star after one middling success and calling someone star after such a huge, unexpected successwhich was attained without hype.

I found him great in Sarkar, Yuva, Guru, Phir Milenge, a whole bunch of comedies that he has done like Dostana, Bol Bachan. A lot more than one or two performances which I feel certain stars get too much hype for. Yeah he is never hit super stardom because he isn't the complete package like Hrithik with conventional good looks and dancing skills. And the truth his once your lucky enough to make it big with your first films you prob have better scripts to chose from and make your mark. Not to mention when your father is a great director he can write great roles for you.

Beyond that he is one of the most secure, sincere MEN in the industry. I appreciate that a lot because even in today's day in age that is a very rare quality to find.

And people can have different opinions on that acting abilities of different actors. Maybe they have particular talents that appeal to you where the other one has others that appeal to different people. There is not right or wrong answer. Its based on personal preferences. Comparisons really aren't even needed.

I am surprised Rakesh is called great director now! Never saw that praise for him post Khudgarz or Karan Arjun! 😆

Karan Arjun was a success commercially if I am not wrong. He got recognition for Khoon Bari Mang and some other films didn't he?

Kumar Gaurav was star over-night after Love Story. where is he now?

HR was the same after KNPH.

But right after success of KNPH, HR was being written off coz of couple of flop movies and OTT acting.

Rakesh Roshan then relaunched him with KMG. Like I said, media even made fun of him saying he only acts in his dad's movies.

So that is not shoving down?

Amisha was a star after KNPH & Gadar. where is she now? She also did Aap mujhe asche lagne lage with HR. But no one re-launched her after such disasters.

They all made some bad choices. Good for HR he got the chance and it worked. For others star kids, it didn't.
