Twmr killed mary kom's opening day. Marykom was only a semi-hit not even clean hit but PC fans arrogantly in twitter boasted of its opening day well Kangana broke it that too.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns Collects Well On Day One

Tanu Weds Manu Returns has done well on day one. The collections in North India are very good. Rajasthan and CI have also done well but collections in Mumbai, South India and East India are average. The first day should come in around the 7.75 crore nett mark.

This is a strong number even though some circuits are not optimum. This is is because the collections are super strong in North. The collections in Delhi/UP and East Punjab are at a similar level to Gabbar Is Back which is fantastic for a film like this.

Normally for films with a cast like this it would be about growth on Saturday but here even if it holds its a solid winner. Any Major growth will be a bonus and just add to the film.

just caught the film today.the first part was better.deepak dobriyal hams.maddy is totally sidelined.jimmys character becomes a bheegi billi in this film.dhanush is not a part of the film.the surprise package is a character playing a lawyer who is fida over tanu(I font know his name),he was playing dhanush's friend in raanjhana.the film is dominated by kangana.but I didnt like what she did with the datto character.it went overboard,in my opinion.

warning...spoiler ahead.its fun in parts.its just a reverse of the first part where manu chases tanu and even helps her to get married with jimmys character.in this part its tanu doing all that.
